I've only worked with ABB drives previously, there it was several modes for tuning. And now I bought a V20 for a band saw project at home, but didn't understand that P1900 was the tuning function :)
Was a bit disappointed when the motor made a bit much whine when accelerating, I guess that tuning the drive will silence it a bit.

yes man thank you, im strugling to replace an obsulete Siemens micromaster 420 with V20 . Its controlled by S7-200 using USS protocol.

Hi this is from India and I am a biggner.. I have a same drive. I am using extranel start stop push button and for frequency using push button for up down Hz. Now i want to ask when I start vfd then it runs up to last running frequency. But I want when ever i stop and press start it should be running on 0 Hz. Means every time I want to adjust frequency from zero.. I hope u got it plz reply if possible...

@@abubakarsiddique7795 Haven't tried it yet, but with "Cn001 - BOP as the only control source " I guess the only way to reverse the direction is by pressing both up and down arrows on the panel as described in the manual 5.1.1 Introduction to the built-in BOP.

Can you set the output frequency to 100Hz? Or is 50Hz is the maximum?
Yes you can go up to 400hz. There is run frequency and base frequency. Base to always be to you country base frequency. Run can go up to 400Hz.
With Poti I only can go to 50 hz, how can I change that?
Good day! we buy Sinamics v20, 3 phases L1/L2/L3/PE. I think, we are stupid, because we even couldnt turn on it. We only connected cable 4 wires. As result, converter doesnt work, screen doesnt work too, only indicator LED blink by red. Is converter can be damaged or we are stupid? Thank you.

@@user-xz2bt2px5p PE is earth my friend, 3 phase drives don’t have neutral going to it. Just 3 phases and earth. Remove any wire from PE for now and start up the drive, if still red check all 3 phases to make sure you get from 380 to 415( depending were you are in the world) between phases using electric meter. Attach earth to PE once you confirmed all test.
