Really learnt a lot from this, particularly in terms of doubling / mirroring sounds in left and right (which seems like something i should have known but didn't). Would love to see more music stuff. There's so many overly authoritative music presenters and your humility makes it so much more watchable and therefore accessible and ultimately enjoyable. Thanks Xxxxxxxxxxx
You reminded me of something I saw in 1985, while I was at Uni studying creative arts. We were visited by a touring group of musicians who used a 20 (ish) metre loop of audio tape and two reel-to-reel recorder/players to layer some remarkable pieces. One machine recorded, the other played. The recording machine got both the live instruments and the playback from the playback machine. I guess a shorter loop is how early analogue 'delay' worked! Hope you're enjoying the 60th celebrations!
So here i am watching this video and also looking through your older videos and I see you made the brain of Morbius. I must admit I am so excited to watch that.
Wth new Content! How have I not seen this or any of the new stuff from the last few months?! I've loved your channel since forever and there's like 10 new things to watch! And on regeneration day! (Is that a thing? I'm calling it a thing). Fantastic version and I'm sure changing your asio settings might sort out that keyboard lag. Anyway ... love this and keep em coming! *apologies for all the exclamation marks, I've just had sugar!*
Fascinating. You've got some innovative sound mangling in there. Regarding that midi delay, are you routing midi back to the keyboard too? You could be hearing the note sound at the end of the keyboard - > garage band - > keyboard round trip.
This is quite inspiring
I love the use of whatever tools you have at hand - brilliant satisfying problem solving.
very cool to see how you created it, thanks for sharing!

Great. I remember an interview where Tom Waits layered up a beatbox loop just with two dictaphones.

Thanks. Enjoy! 🧠
