Hello Abhinav, A similar thing had happened at my university (NLUD) too and it wasn't done by a student but by the professor himself. In an internal examination of the LLM batch, the professor had mentioned K@shmir as Indi@n 0ccupied K@shmir (I0K). Somehow that question paper reached one lawyer (Prashant Umrao) who also tweeted about it around June 2020. Apart from protests by 2-3 students, nothing material actually happened in that case, not even a departmental proceedings. And from my personal experience, I know how vindictive that professor is and must have marked those protesting students really low. And then certain students having similar leaning started writing emails or social media Posts in solidarity with that Professor calling everyone criticizing him a 'troll', 'cyber bull', 'harasser' etc etc. In the past too, at NLU Delhi, a few professors had protested about singing National Anthem in 2016 when our Govt had issued some circular on it and called it out a mere act of jingoism. [There was a proper exchange of emails between Professors who didn't find anything wrong in singing it and the ones who opposed it, I still have those with me]. They were the ones who actually had appealed the death sentence of Yakub Memon in 2014.
And just to get attention (mainly marks) from those professors, students are writing/ posting only left narratives (little do these toddlers know that they've become part of an echo chamber and are now just a pawn in this power-wresting of politicians). Recently, students from my university flocked to Saheen Bagh, they were volunteering and appealing to other students to join them. And under pressure, some new 1st year toddlers just used to toe the line marked by their seniors/ professors. We are shown documentaries like "Raam ke naam" and subtly told that Hindutva poltics is worst. And students fearing their marks just used to attend those sessions. There's a lot more happening there and can't really write all of it here. If interested, I can be reached out at naadanparindey@gmail.com Yours, Nadan Parindey (the fact that I'm using a pseudo-name to comment is evident of that fact how much I'm terrified I'm of getting 'canceled' or called 'Bhakt' if my peers ever come to know about this comment and that I listen to you/ Mitra/ Kushal etc)
Agree with AIM that the calibre of Ministers in BJP Govt is generally poor, especially when it comes to understanding how Higher Education Institutes peddle a particular ideology; therefore, how can one expect them to take appropriate action? TCS needs to supply an AI based software to TISS for scouting all dissertation studies for anti-India word usage or rhetoric.
@Hari Lily - You did not understand. Universities in the West are already using AI based 'anti-plagiarism' software on dissertations and papers. A similar AI based tool, with specific coding, will be able to identify 'statements' which are anti-India (where it breaks the law or university standards), just the same way the anti-plagiarism software does.

An MBA 20 to 25 Years Ago was valuable, when IIM-A,B,C& L produced about 600 to 700 Students a year in total.
Now nearly 2500 Students pass out of IIM-A,B,C& L in total.
Nothing great the curriculum sucks, the profs are old hogs manning their own agendas and benifits....yeh but if you are a left and pass out from TISS u can get a job in TCS OD department
@@manjularamprasad3925
Old Hog / Hag like rv vaidyanathan from IIM -- Bangalore.
He gas Bag on that P-Gurus Channel on UTube.
The professor must be pointed out and brought to book and criminal charges must be framed against the professor and he or she must be put behind bars under uapa act ..asap .
..
Central gov't should come up with sweeping policies and if necessary legislation to completely discourage such absurd hypothesis that threatens national integrity and security.
As you said- the whole department is responsible, it shows the incompetence of the teachers. If this is so then by the same logic isn't the government department controlling the TISS is also responsible? I know that Abhijit is quite critical of this government and the babus so many would like to brush off the charges, but actually this is the crux of the matter that the authorities are either asleep or simply as good as dead. So shameful.
Considering Bengal do you still have any trust for Government and media?
Exactly, I’ve lost trust on the government completely
There is only one lingering hope that they will do something before the elections, and that hope exists mostly coz I like Modi.
Motu Shah has gone anonymous.
@@IdkIdk-dd9go Forget Government. What are these people doing? Are they simply going to suffer? Don't these people have any anger? Rage? Nothing?
It is really confusing for me. People who do nothing.
Please watch vivek agnihotris movie Buddha in a Taffic Jam which shows how students are led into a leftist trap in colleges
You are doiñg a great work.
Excellent discussion
AIM is a champ. Just love listening to him
They should have cameras placed in each classroom to see whether professors are engaging in their own propaganda or adhering to the curriculum outlined by the institution.
Abhinav sir bringing important topics to discuss 👍🙏😊
Make AIM eat his T shirt Govt!!!
A thorough debate
We are too soft, they know that there's nothing to fear beyond Twitter hashtags and what-not
Dexter from Miami, Florida!!
After so many years someone mentions him!!
Superb
Mr Aiyer is true. We did not know about pok and akshai chin till i came in contact of Knowledge of Internet. Our test books white washed the fault of neheru
Yeah even I think
That map of India should show aksai chin and pok because they were lost under the rule of Nehru Gandhi dinasty
Well even nationalist aren't in favour of that
India has a leftist socialist right wing
Nice discussion on a very important development affecting Indian state funded academia viz. the infiltration by the Trotskyist left. Keep focus on this.
How come these kind of things are going on! Is really government of India a fragile one that even can't take measures to ensure sovereignty 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Referring it as Social Science and Student Teacher junks as Social Scientists is horrendous insult to Science 😆🤣
Belonging to the social sciences myself, watching the top social science departments getting vilified on a regular basis is depressing. The academia is in dire need of an overhaul but gov inaction continues to let us down
Modi now became more than Nehru in his thinking and action..for e.gv..china and.pakistan he is ignoring this issue willfully ignored
Why the Govt is not taking any action?
It's an established approach that research grants are awarded after assessment of candidates and their study of interest. What has transpired after that and acceptance of the dissertation- supervised by a committee - is what you see. Now it is interesting to know who funded the research?
Govt will DO NOTHING. That's it.
Please have an interview with Karolina Goswami.
Academic freedom should not be controlled. The funding can be controlled.
Amen
ye iyer gazab bolta hai, kai sari jagah aata hai,but apna internet connection sahi nahi karwa sakta.. gazab hai
If there was a center of such in Turkey, which describes Turkey as a colonizer for occupying and killing Armenians, Assyrians and Greeks during the First World War, the researchers would've been shot by some random guy who will be later let go off because he is mentally unsound. If such a center in Indonesia described Indonesia a colonizer for occupying West Papua, the researcher will poisoned on a flight to the Netherlands. India is a mature, democratic, law-abiding society it will tolerate difference of opinion. But I don't think it should tolerate stupidity, shut this center down.
*Prof. Nilanjana Ray should be removed. The responsibility lies on her to teach her students.*
I couldn't agree more with Abhijit..yes methodology which otherwise also a very poorly addressed, is the problem here in this thesis.
I am from Uttarakhand, after listening about the Incompetence and colossal stupidity of Indian Governments I feel People of Uttarakhand one day may ask China to take in our state.. lol who knows
I live In rishikesh, it is scary to see the clandestine islamization of Devbhoomi
It may have different problems than what you mentioned, within next few years !!
Also, it is government incompetence only which has created this situation.
The one who wrote the paper was A. kundu. Nilanjana Ray was teacher. Both brahman.
Its one thesis not an institutional position. Academically we should encourage different positions even if we do not agree with it.
suppose i actually wanna study into social sciences as a graduate, is there any college in india that is at least some liberal to ideas?
what about du?
Du is not bad ipu is also good I think ipu don't have elections in university so very low politics
very few. if not in ideology, the quality is bad.
look bro, having graduated from DU and Post graduated from JNU, I can tell u that no college in India or even in the whole world is neutral in social sciences. Bcooz as AIM said, social sciences is all about ideology, taking a position. U cant just stand aside and watch the show. Though the way to survive in any SSC dept or to flourish is to always keep at the back of ur mind, from where the particular statement of the professor/ colleague/ friend is coming from. Whats there in it for them. Just keep this in mind and u will develop effective counters to confront any Tom Dick & Harry
Is this paper available for download? So somebody can prepare a response to the same.
Getting rid of UGC for a while will stop the abuse aka lack of funds!
Ananya Kundu, the MA student and Prof. Nilanjana Ray, the guide on the Dissertation; are more than likely to be Urban Naxals/Maoists who see India as 17 separate countries and therefore peddling their agenda through Academics at TISS Hyderabad campus.......disgraceful that TISS does not even have a policy on cross-checking the Dissertation titles or the content written.
TISS needs to be dissed!
From 14:00 what abhinav makes me feel that she wrote the shittiest paper without academic standards🙂
Golden words : lost by nehru, lost by gandhi
As the government acts weak and disengaged, multifarious challenges are raised for the Indian State from unexpected quarters. It is as if every worm has suddenly raised a hood. There is a crisis developing from this culture of powerlessness.
Good comments by Abhishek. Tiss seems to be another jnu. Ideologically driven and ideological inbreeding leading to incompetence and anti-Hindu, anti-Bharat feeling characterises such institutions.
Even Brezhnev was an Ukranian
I had seen a video in which the exact same argument was used for domestic violence and oppression of women in Palestine. As expected the blame was put on Israel. Kashmir really does follow Palestinian be it stone pelting, using women and children as human shield or other crap.
yes! this is an exact copy... much like they do with everything in kashmir, vis-a-vis palestine. i am surprised AIM isn't familiar with it.
@@anonymouslyopinionated656 exactly!! I started noticing the similarities after Major Gaurav Arya sir pointed it out. It's simply difficult to miss the connection if you are a geo political strategist.
Agreed. Funnily I had just rewatched the old UN Hunar rights video of them blaming Israel for Palestinians beating their wives, right before I watched this video!
Lost because of Nehru 😂😂😂 Abhijit cracks a straight face passive joke, Abhinav doesnt get it and thinks to clear we can't do that. Ofcourse Abhinav, we can't. It's something laugh on and not clear😂

This is the problem. Just charge the prof.
Does Education Ministry exist ?
Can anyone please name the professor and student concerned

Such sheer incompetence cannot qualify as academic and there's only limited freedom you could allow in educational institutes. Give too much freedom, standards and quality will deteriorate
education is to teach people asking questions not promote foreign answers
It's just a poorly referenced opinion not a thesis. Love to see abhijeet as external to roast the candidates
What action has been taken against them?
