Went camping with a 2 year old and climbed Clingmans Dome carrying her in our arms with the child carrier empty on our backs. That 2 year old turns 47 on the 11th!! Memories of long ago in the Smoky mountains. I’m still in Tennessee after all those years and still loving it. Have grandkids now almost grown. You guys are fun to watch. Thanks for sharing.

I have a Jackery 500 & love it! I live out in the desert and totally rely on it for all I need! But I use a Goal Zero Boulder 100W Solar Panel. It is one panel Heavy duty enough to With stand strong winds and can stay out On rain & snow. Powers my 500 Jackery Very fast & leaves me days of enough so I don't have To charge it every day.! Great combo! 😁

Something you might want to consider is a single induction burner for cooking because it heats much quicker and is more efficient than a standard electric burner and there's no residual hangover heat afterward which is safer for children. Just make sure the appropriate cookware is used with the induction burner or it won't work.

I'm really hoping this trip is research for a possible future tiny home. It'd be cool to see you guys make a tiny shipping container home while living in the bus and making your own homestead garden, bee boxes etc. I love watching your family.
You guys will remember I told you that we bought a game farm (here in South Africa) and are moving there in February. My mom (76 years) lives with us. We have just bought such a container house where she will be staying in on the farm. Here in South Africa these are now becoming very common - and not industrial looking at all. I love the idea of re-using things and these container houses are amazing.
