I don't mind the ENG Seph, but Morikawa adds a nice subtlety to Seph's character, especially during the Nibelheim flashback.
@@cgtio Morikawa has played that character for so long he embodies it.
The way he voices him is effortless and natural.
Tyler sounds like a new voice actor, which I think he is. And I'm not saying every scene is bad, but there are def scenes where Seph sounds stiff and it feels like he is just reading off a script. Just saying I felt more could've been brought to the table for the english Seph.
And because I love this series so much, it does affect me to see Seph handled this way, in what probably will be the final version of FF7.
Sephy’s silver eyebrows make it difficult to realise how beautiful he is until you look really close up 😊 having said that, still much prefer the original entry of sephy, more succinct, much more powerful. He only fought twice in the original game, one again a huge dragon, two slashes did the work. Another time using the most powerful magic (firedaga I think) to wipe out all the enemies in one go. And the theme ‘those chosen by the planet’ playing through his scenes, so ominous it sent goosebumps all over my body. ‘Anxious heart’ is also so good then followed up by ‘tcbtp’ when sephy finally broke down and went totally berserk. What an impressive introduction! That is why sephy is so popular in my opinion 😅
He's definitely a timeless character in my mind. A man of few words, yet has an absolute chilling yet mysterious aura about him.
Sephiroth was such a cool dude before turning evil.

I mainly focused on scenes where Sephiroth spoke(there are a few more scenes he just comes and goes with the party talking afterwards, but I felt it was redundant for a Morikawa showcase). I've included all of these scenes in my 'movie edition' of the game if you're still interested.
As for the Gilgamesh one, I had no idea he was going to appear and I only got around to that postgame after I uploaded this video, unfortunately(most of my viewers wanted this uploaded asap at the time). You can find that on my 'Gilgamesh' video.
