Great video mate, can you give me a spec for the cable to from van fuse box to the super charger to wake it up? and where can i get my hands on one of those larger schematics you showed on screen?
Great add on , we find the LPS 3000 ideal for our needs so don’t think we’ll buy . Thank you for the update , looking forward to more videos from you guys 👍
Thank you for another great vid. Would be good to understand some real-life applications like your e-bikes and the air-conditioning unit. Also looking forward to the lightweight follow-up and other install videos.
Clayton make a fantastic unit but I feel they really need to develop an app for ease of monitoring to support their unit like other manufacturers do. It's the little things that can sometimes tip the balance for choosing a power bank solution. Maybe your thinking Clayton are targeting a selective audience but so are Ferrari yet they have an app for their drivers. Just a thought
I want a LPS so bad but I want the app too. If they had the bluetooth module already, I would just buy one and wait for the update. But with no module, it'll never be possible.
Yup I get it. We are not fussed as we very rarely check in on our electrics other than make sure its full. The add on battery is overkill for us but I want to go through the install and testing so I can support customers who buy one as much as possible.
@ahoyleisure tbh it is likely overkill for us too, but I want to go gasless and that 2nd battery will remove the worry in my head. It means we can get a couple of days use.
@@CalMUK91 Yeah that’s it. The only time we have struggled was running out of gas in minus 5 in Scotland. And touring with another motorhome that didn’t have an inverter early this year. They would plug in to our van (clayton) in the morning so they could use the kettle and hairdryer. So we would end up flat. Would have been handy on that 2 week trip for sure 😅
Thanks for the update, rough or not it’s what we were waiting for. This add on battery will be of particular use to heavy power users or those of us planning off grid full time van dwelling or nomadic types whom never wish to pay for a camp site. Food for thought indeed……
@@commuterbranchline8132 I’ve a few more videos in the pipeline on this including some wacky real life tests with the extra power. Also a full install inc the supercharger wiring step by step. The reality is the LPS alone is enough but we have some customers who need full time living or aircon etc. so it’s a must. If you are after a lot of power with good customer service pre and post sales in as little space and weight as possible then it’s a perfect choice. It’s a brand new product but keep posted on the channel as we do early review tests. So far so good ✌️
