Michele - Would you please consider doing a tutorial on the use of "neutral tint" - and also compare/contrast it with Payne's Gray? I just got Payne's Gray in my collection, but I'm also seeing lots of references to "neutral tint." Is neutral tint worth purchasing? Have you done a video on neutral tint? If so, I'm having trouble finding it. Thanks!
Some of the things you say make me smile. I hurt my hand hitting someone... Lol I'd be richer than I am now and living in a castle... That made me chuckle too. Thinking on theses thing (in my own twisted way). I wondered if the receiver of said "hit" enjoyed hospital food? And you locked away in some castle tower would be like someone stealing a national treasure, and depriving everyone from your priceless tutorials. Not to mention, there isn't a prince that's man enough in the UK to ride up on his white charger, and sweep you away to some fairy tale castle somewhere. Hehehe. Like yours truly, coming through the schools of hard knocks has left an edge to our characters that a lot of people would find intimidating. With you it's a constant pursuit for perfection, (not for to go now), and me, well I can't stand injustice. Had my say. Thank you once again. Always amazed at you finished paintings. TTFN.
Lol, thank you, I am far too bolshy to be a princess. And Kung Fu has sent me to hospital on two occasions, but only out patients, and what's a broken rib or a torn ligament between friends :-)
This is such a wonderful tutorial! Your hibiscus is just as I remember them from the many years I lived in Florida. I can't wait to try this today, you have given me the confidence and inspiration to believe that I can really do this. I just love your added touches with the watercolor pencils and the exacto knife. Thank you!!
Love this! I will definitely try this soon-a few winter paintings to finish up snd I will be ready for flowers ❣️ Looking forward to your additional mini project tutorials coming up 😊
Flowers are my favorite things to paint, and you have helped me so much with your excellent tutorials. By giving me a series of steps to follow, instead of just "flying blind," I am learning how to successfully approach each painting. You are awesome! ♥️💐♥️
Very informative video. Even got a couple of chuckles from the tiara tidbit! I would like to see a flower video on those thin white lines on petals where the petal catches the light. Mine are never realistic and look like a white border around the petal. Thank you!
Beautiful! CAn't wait to try this one! You make it so easy to understand every step of the way!!! I've looked at hibiscus and thought I cant do that but now I think maybe I can!
Thank you dear Madame for this beautiful tutorial. Hibiscus is one of my favorite flowers and this is exactly the tutorial to learn how to paint it. The next month I am getting watercolors and going to try this medium. Hugs from Rennes, Brittany, France.
Thank you! Could you consider some tutorials featuring only your Jackman's Botanical Set? It would be really nice for us that have it, because we want to get the most out of these brilliant paints. Also your Essentials Set. Maybe you could give substitute colours for those who don;t have the sets.
Great idea! I think some of my tutorials are using this set, but I have recorded so many, it's hard to remember which ones. I will be having some limited palette stuff coming up soon :-)
*any thoughts on painting insects such as iridescent beetles such as the very rare Rainbow leaf beetle (Chrysolina cerealis) there in your native England...or possibly any number of colorful salamanders...i'm close to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee where there are at least 30 species of various shades and sizes...*
Currently I am using 140lb stretched Fabriano Artistico Extra White. Sometimes for simple RUclips demos (not this one) I use Bockingford or similar practice papers.

Do you have tutorials for trees
Please keep water fountains on your list. (Don't mean to 🐞 you about it. 😊)
Birds please!!

I keep a multi grip or adjustable pliers on my art table to get lids off.
Good idea!
Try running the lid in hot water for a few minutes!
Oh good idea!

I have thought of this yes, next time I get some new iridescent paints perhaps!
Loved this tutorial. What kind of paper do you use?

Oh you make me laugh out loud. Kitchen paper no matter what room it’s in! 🤣
😁
Sadly my drawing skills are so poor I gave up on trying to recreate this lovely painting.
You can do it!
Thanks for your encouragement! I am going to try your dandelion painting and the comeback to this one at a later date.
No mostró como hacer el fondo 😏
Está disponible en un video diferente. Busque Bokeh, junto con mi nombre y debería encontrarlo :-)
