What gearbox and transfer cases is it running ?. Is it engineered. Be interesting to see someone do a test comparison of the G003 Yokohama's up against a set of Treps. Been watching a few vids where Treps seem to clog up in clay and become slicks.

Hey man! Running a w56 gearbox and twin transfers with 4.7 reduction gets in the rear case, engineered for turbo but not tyres

@@_late2.8 Thanks for the reply. I asked cause I have a 95 ln106. 2.8 diesel, no turbo and G52 gearbox and have put 4.7's in the single transfer case. Longfield axles in the front with a lokka and 31" G003 Yokohama's with a 2" lift. All legal and engineered cause I put a dual diaphram brake booster in it to improve the useless brakes. I have not put dual transfers in it or turbo due to cost and concerns of overloading and blowing the gearbox. I like the Yokohama's and need to get out more and find some more rocks to use the reduction gears. Hope to see you out there. 👍

I'm looking at one of these at the moment, a 1997 with the 2.4L petrol engine. Is this a good car to use as a base for an overland build which will have a lift, 35" tires and air diff lockers front and rear?

id definitely recommend a diesel one over petrol, but they are both a great 4x4
