Absolutely. I personally loved the Snowman, but I don't watch it for the plot, cause there isn't one, really. I like the quiet wintery aesthetic of it, so I used to let it play in the background, back when it was on Netflix. Also, the Folding Ideas post mortem analysis is very interesting, if you want to know about directing and editing. For that second purpose, it's better to have an incomplete film that tries to build connecting scenes out of B roll and dubing
Its dangerous to go to the movies alone... once you do it, it becomes an addiction. Nothing better than watching a movie without thinking "is this other person going to like this 2 hours drama", at your prefered theater and at the time you like. I love it.

Sorry Patrick, but hard disagree about your attempt to distinguish Gosling and Reynolds. They may take different kinds of roles, but their appearances and demeanors are so similar that they merge together in my mind and I'm definitely not the only person who thinks about them that way given that both Reynolds and Gosling tell stories about being mistaken for each other.
Appearance, yes. Demeanor, no. Gosling has a vulnerability that's very believable. Just look at Blade Runner 2049. He's heartbreaking in that, without saying a word. Look at him in Barbie. He balanced the cluelessness of Ken with an interesting depth, an underlying frustration, masked by over confidence, that Reynolds could never bring, or at least I can't imagine it. If you try to swap them out in various movies, they don't work
I'm partial to Tommy Lee Jones in the Boss Coffee commercials, in which he plays an alien taking the form of Tommy Lee Jones to pass as a human in Japan.
How does the likes of netflix know how much a tv series or movie of theirs has made? How does residuals for actors, writers work regarding streaming companies?
Dude, I am now *This* close to watching Ballers just to see why it was created. You commented on how surprising of a nothingburger it was in His Rockness' resume. Now I am like "well what was the strategy behind this?" Was it supposed be Entouragesque, but starting a movie star? All this ritzy living, flashy wealth, fancy cars, another sunny city, Rob Corddry...like was this an attempt to just capture a big dude market slice? I remember how much Entourage bolstered Mark Whalberg's image and his status as a businessman when it came out. Was He-Who-Cooks going for the same? Are there ratings on HBO joints? I don't need another project please spare me. (BTW love all that you do, thx).

I watched Slumberland with my 6 year old boy and we loved it, Momoa killed his role too. While it is a children's film, it's perfectly suitable for adults.
If you try to swap them out in various movies, they don't work
I just Like how the "yeah" st 10:10 will be my Patrick Willems Ringtone
What about Reynolds and The Voices?
THE BEST Japanese commercial I can think of is the one where George Lucas's head transforms out of a Panasonic™ camcorder
Next time Richard Curtis writes a movie, Tom Holland should be in it.
my comment was considered and selected YEEES thank youu

There was that prank call video from a while ago on RUclips that got really big and John Cena was at the center of it, and I always wonder how much of John Cena's popularity now is due to that meme
Finnish female viewers represented!
I'll stand by that Stuber is a fun action movie. It's nothing special but Batista is great in it and Iko Uwais is the villain which is always a treat.
Woman in Gold I think was Ryan Reynolds attempt at “prestige” didn’t work.
I guess I’m in the minority but I really didn’t like Nobbles and I often skip the longer skits and gags. The shorter ones are good though.
Why do people not talk about Buried? That was a good Ryan Reynolds performance, he literally carried the movie it's just him start to end
