Rachel has been one of my favorite artists since I heard her version on The Last Goodbye. And I’ve been waiting to hear her version of this song! Beautifully done!!
This, is one of the most soul wrenching versions of this song I have heard. It's beautifully done, from the slow funeral-dirge esq music, to the cadence and softly mourning lyrics. It is, hands down, one of the best renditions you've ever produced.

Rachel's voice is softer than Emiliana Torrini, and I think it lends itself better here. If Emiliana's version was like a lamentation, Rachel's is like a eulogy. It's the difference between Gollum dying slowly vs already gone. Both valid, but I like this cover a lot.

Once upon a time, I was very fortunate to sing in a project choir, who sang all the singing parts live + an orchestra was playing the music score live while the movie was running. HOLY HECK, this was genuinely amazing! Not only your wonderful voice and tone, but the choice of makeup and lighting worked together to make it all so... beautifully haunting. And the water droplets at the end tied it all together perfectly. AUGHH ITS SO GOOD
Gollum's song is so deep and it reminds me of another video on RUclips which used this very music for the fall of Anakin Skywalker (Vader) as it played after Obiwan defeated Anakin.
