      @Navidha Melam Vanguard does not allow that. But CS would allow in their IRA's. Handle Lev ETF's with care.

      @@InvestmentInsightsTamil Definitely I would have done, but 99% are from North side and out side India. Athan solla mudiyala... But in my surroundings (In my Village) I'm helping many people to invest in Mutual funds in sip mode, if they're young I'm suggesting few good stocks to invest. they have seen very good profit upto 25k in one week. This is charity kind of work only, no profit/loss for me. I know the pain of running behind the money, so edhu oru chinna help 🙏
      I'll inform these people to start watch but porumaya watch pannuvangala nu doubt dhan.

    As always amazing video. I was wondering if you are all in on individual stocks how do you mitigate your risk? My portfolio has doubled in value but if I sell my stock to buy index fund then I need to pay tax. Whats the best way to mitigate my risk if you only have individual stock. Can we exchange individual stock to index funds such as VOO or SPY.

      No we cannot. Whenever you see a time to sell an individual stock, because it is not doing good in the business, then you can switch that for ETF at that time.

    Super message and super examples. As you said, saving rate is in our hands. But; aside the regular job, is it possible to get 12 percent interest? It's equivalent to another job. Risk also means the stress and anxiety, is it !!

      Indian stock market index has given a return of 15% on average in long term. So yeah, it is totally possible.
      Stress and anxiety - differs for everyone. You have to target the portfolio and return that you are comfortable with.

    Hello Vijay - For investing from HSA account what would be your better one other than VTI, VGT& VOO..Also in later part of life if we leave US & have medical expense, can it be claimed in the HSA account..

      I would stick to index funds. And Yes, we can claim in HSA for qualified expenses even if we are out of USA.

    Sir, How to transfer our stock/MF to our kids, when we attain certain age (let's keep 80). How much tax kids have to pay for our wealth? Suppose I invested 10 lakhs and it grown to 10 crores. Do they need to pay 30% tax to get 10 crores from their parents. Can you please explain about this.. I don't have idea about this.

      Unless u sell ur share u not need to pay tax. However long term gain tax is only 10% only. Moreover the they can claim your share with legal heir document or u may nominate your demat account as desired by you

    Kindly talk about education loan payoff.... Once we got job... By paying education loan itself 5% from income.... then family expenses... Other loans by parents...We couldn't able to save anything.... Kindly guide on this kind of issues.....

    Sir…I watched all of your episodes. It changed my investment behavior completely. The way you present is really awesome.
    I am not a stock market guy, but doing my level best with 401K, HSA, life ins, 529 college savings, with your advices. Truly appreciate your series and experience-sharing to improve our financial strength. If possible, could u pls advise on the below items.
    1. Is it worth to take index universal life (IUL)? I already have term life insurance. Not sure if IUL is really working well.
    2. How much we should ideally contribute to 401K? I am planning 8% for my retirement savings. My employer matches 100% at 4% itself. Should I put the rest 4% in IRA?

      1. Not needed. Better to keep investments and insurance needs separate.

    Sir, great insights from you! I am currently 40 and planning to retire by 50. I am in US and planning to liquidate one of the assets (Flat) and invest that amount for good returns. is it a good idea to bring the amount in $ and invest (assuming minimal capital gains from sale in India) ? Pls share your thoughts

      Totally personal preference. If you do not have at least 60% exposure to equity in your portfolio, then I think it is a good idea to bring that money in and invest here in an Index fund.

But maintenance charge nu 3 months ku one time mail varuthu. Ippo yennoda upstox wallet -383 rs. Nu irukku sir. Neega yepdi maintenance charge maintain panriga. Please reply sir 🥲

      Hey akash I don't use upstocx. Usually nowadays no brokerage company like zerodha, grow, angel broken claim for maintenance. However if u want to understand and study market invest in index fund which has less expense ratio.
