    Absolutely beautiful way of sharing the love for a place. Being from southern Spain, you suddenly made me truly believe that Saskatoon is the "ultimate" place for me. The kind of society you'd rather be part of. Thanks so much for that❤

    Saskatoon truly is a beautiful and affordable city. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. One of the things we appreciated most was how short the distances between places were. Coming from YYZ, it was a refreshing change.
    However, there were some aspects that caught us by surprise, things nobody really mentions. For instance, the limited daily flights were inconvenient and quite expensive. Also, when it came to finding employment, it seemed like knowing someone was almost a necessity, unless you were content with minimum wage positions. Fortunately, we were able to telework, which worked out well for us. Yet, despite our desire to stay, landing an interview for a job in Saskatoon proved to be nearly impossible without connections.
    It's a shame that small-town dynamics sometimes mean you have to have an 'in' with a company to even be considered. But overall, our time in Saskatoon was memorable, and we're grateful for the experience.

      You're lucky you didn't end up living in that godforsaken province. Life is short, don't live in Saskatchewan.

      I am very accustomed to tey flights but do envy the ease of what bigger centers have to offer for air travel.
      I’m sorry to hear your employment experience here. That would have been very frustrating

      As an immigrant Saskatoon is not the place to live are generally rude inpatient racist people in Saskatoon.
      Unfortunately Canadians seem to walk around with a delusional belief there friendly people

    Bin here 20 years. First lots of big Canadian cities have rivers so not a big novelty . People are not very friendly, unless you grew up here and have lots of relatives. One of the worst crime rates in Canada. HARSH winters. Road maintenance is easily one of the worst in Canada. Economy is not strong unemployment pretty high. Prices in houses are already getting pretty high. Have to be careful for badly built homes which there are no shortage of especially if you want cheaper price. If I had to do it over again there are a lot better places to buy a house. I would look in some of the over looked quiet USA states homes which are cheaper than sask.

    Hi Angela, thank you for the information! Question, in general, is housing in Winnipeg city cheaper or more expensive than Saskatoon? Thanks

    • @realestateagentyxe
      @realestateagentyxe  2 месяца назад

      Good question! I think our prices are close but I am not educated on the Winnipeg market. Their average price may be slightly higher. They are a much larger city than Saskatoon

    • @realestateagentyxe
      @realestateagentyxe  7 месяцев назад

      Hello! I do not handle rentals. Saskatchewan does not run rentals through real estate agents. Rentals are all privately managed or held through certified property managers. I would be happy to send you a list of sites to check on. Just DM your email address and I’ll send that off

    Get ready for a wave cause nobody in eastern Canada has any of that

    Affordable? Tell that to 80 percent of the people in the country under the age of 40 that can no longer afford to buy a house in Saskstoon even in the worst part of the city.
