  • A gripping video version by Sir Elton John during
Princess Diana's funeral in London. The pictures speak for themselves One wonders how Elton kept his composure during this incredible tribute to England's Rose, Princess Diana. Bernie Taupin re-wrote the lyrics for Diana from the original tribute to Marilyn Monroe

She died 2 years before I was even born. I'm not even English, I'm American, but every once in a while I listen to this song and sob my eyes out. It's so spectacular how one woman could capture the heart of not just a nation, but the entire world. She used her title and her spotlight for good, and the lives of so many people were made better because of her. Even 24 years after her death, she is still mourned.

Sad to see that Harry and William have neither of their parents alive eventhough their father is physically alive. And now the royal family bicker over the name of Harry and Meghan's daughter. I was in London meeting Auschwitz survivors and they adored me for being in the ceremony with them. I got to talk to them and one survivor said “your strength is incredible, just how?!” I hugged that same survivor who said that and this was January 2020
