I think it is brilliant in that it handles tasks which normally would destroy a good soldering iron and so using a cheap one that is moded this way keeps your nice irone pristine.. Good job for sure!
glue gun cheaper than tips for my soldering iron. Knife is sharp enough to cut that syringe without heat. wire strippers don't have to be plugged in. you can seal a bag with a cigarette lighter. if you plan on replacing the components you removed in #1 you're better off with solder sucker or solder wick to clean up the thru holes as well.
glue gun is 100% not cheaper than tips. just spend a few bucks on a few feet of 6 gauge copper. you'll have tips for years. syringes are fairly durable plastic, the hot knife is better if you want clean cuts. some people can't strip wires for shit, and this is obviously for when you don't have strippers. not everyone has a cigarette lighter.
Some good tips👍, wondering if you used a piece of thick stainless wire threaded through a sausage would it cook it from inside out? handy if you don't have a frying pan lol
No 3. You have made it so easy to saw apart the Cooper electrode. You have to remind the viewer to be much carefully otherwise our fingers will be apart iso the electrode.
@@lordcaptain73 there is no such thing as a bad idea imo, some of the greatest inventions and discoveries have stemmed from what seemed to be horrible ideas at the time...and there is something I like to call CONSTRUCTIVE criticism....no need to tear someone down to make a point....maybe just help point them in the right direction.
at least you doing something sir i noticed most of the people think hard to make most bad comment on these kinda videos but i tell you true guys dosent look nice from me good try keep it up very useful if i think hard cheers
Easy way around all this: Hack 1. Learn to desolder correctly. Get solder wick or a desoldering pump. Both are pretty cheap and easy to use. Hack 2. Ever heard of wire strippers? Pretty cheap and useful tool made for this purpose. Hack 3. A small hack saw works wonders at cutting down your opioid syringe. Hack 4. Get a hot melt glue gun ya silly goof. They are cheap and made for this application. Plus you don't have to cut down hot melt glue sticks. Hack 5. Zip-lock bags do the same thing and are reusable. Plus they take A LOT less time to close. Instructions unclear. Replaced dick with soldering iron to heat things up in the bedroom.
I like the desoldering idea. Too bad the led is melted beyond reuse. As for the other "hacks"... Most will RUIN your soldering tip and / or are pointless since a sharp knife, a small saw of a glue gun are cheaper and much better suited to the tasks.
The first 2 hacks get the component too hot if you are planning on reusing it. Melting plastic gives off toxic fumes that are very harmful to people and pets so if you are going to do this use adequate ventilation.
Notice here you probably need a variable power supply - none of this plastic was smoking. The idea is to MELT it. If you're smoking it, you're too hot. Turn the power down. #1, handy if you use surface-mount devices, which are becoming more and more common. #2, handy if you're using very fine wire. #3, hot knife. Might be handy for plastic modelers who want to open car doors and trunk lids. #4, pretty useless to me. #5, might be handy for resealing those "accessory" bags when returning the wrong part back to the auto parts store. Or you could just tape it shut because they're probably going to return it to the manufacturer anyway.
i know its dumb let say this *Well damn jimmy can you use your life hacks to fix the coffee maker *sure (pulls out a soder iron with a exacto knife on it)
These videos: the recipe : Take a guy with dirty/ugly nails, give him a soldering iron or (better) a hot glue gun and plastic bottles and/or cans. Let him work hard and bad for 2 hours and ...."Tada".... he reinvents something existing since 20 years and/or available for 1$ at the next store .
Oh my Lord... So you're telling me that buying a solder pump or solder wick is worse than bending some wire. Oh, sure! Let's just slap a paperclip in there to remove the isolation on cables, when you can use an empty stapler! Need to cut a syringe (for whatever reason)? Plastic surely isn't toxic or that you can cut it anyway without heat instead of wasting 1.3 minutes. Oh, good, you have hot glue sticks, but not a hot glue gun, huh? Just use your soldering iron if you are that cheap to buy a $10-$15 hot glue gun, but instead be able to afford a soldering iron... Oh and you also ruined the tip. So what!? Then you are going to like, I don't know, place an M3 Screw in there and use it as a soldering tip. To top it all off, are you in a situation where you are a beggar just to buy a Ziploc bag for $0.50?
Thank you so much for making this video! It is so helpful. I also figured it couldn't hurt to ask, is there any chance you might have any old tools or stuff for projects that you might be able to donate so that I can use them to make videos for my channel? I am disabled, homeless, and jobless. I'm trying my best just to survive and am living in an abandoned WWII bomb shelter. Any advice you have on how to build my channel would also be very appreciated. Thank you so much for your time. Sincerely, "Your homeless friend Kai"
Speaking from experience, don’t do the hot glue one. The fumes will burn your eyes, nose and throat. It’s very painful. Also probably not great for your lungs.
can you please tell me the music that you put in video because it remember me wonderfull fantastic beautiful holiday in maldives.and i search for it many times and can find from who it is?? ..please !!!!!!
Thanks for the Idea, now i can make my own Styrofoam Hot Cutter.
So did you ever end up making the foam cutter? If so how did it turn out?
I think it is brilliant in that it handles tasks which normally would destroy a good soldering iron and so using a cheap one that is moded this way keeps your nice irone pristine.. Good job for sure!
Hot knife! Fantastic idea
Thank you
Wow genius, aku selalu suka dengan cara hack soldering ini, ok gaes,, ✌
For perfect cutting , I always use the hot knife , but now you made it easy for me to cut plastic bottle , thermopolic objects. Thanks man...
I congratulate you on those ideas, they are very useful.
Cool Video !!
thank you verry much
Now I have a plastic rule welded onto all my plastic bags.
Resealable ziplock anyone???
Very good
Good ❤❤
Very nice hacks. Thanks
Good video except need to be watched at 2X
Up next, best soldering iron hack to add grill marks to your steak.
Oh joy.
i love he was about to touch it but then rememberede that it was a bad idea
I love your Brain and Your Creativity
Good

"you can seal a bag with a cigarette lighter" yea that's how you pack the drugs xD
He meant if we only have soldering iron.

The hot blade made me tap the Like!

So for number 1, you're trying to tell me that I have to make each one of those custom sized for taking pieces off?
yes
Ok lol :D
Good way to burn out what your trying to recover tho!
If you were to make a few, it could speed up some reworks when trying to replace a few smd components at a time.
using two soldering irons with 223 flux much safer for components
is this the entry for the useless inventions challenge ? great job !
nice video, good job
40/5000
Congratulations on the ideas. I liked very much..
Thank. Good idea.
Some good ideas.
There is no need to be rude guys.
David Farmer I disagree, if you don’t make feedback blunt it won’t sink in that their ideas are stupid and they should feel bad

Really nice, bro!
thank you
Good idea
Best idea
I will def be using the paperclip trick. Thanks!
You can just use an empty stapler.
What was the paper lip trick useful for ?
Great work , but the 1st and the 5th were just too too good
The wire stripper is one of the most useful ones
great buddy.....
It is better to remove the coating rubber of the copper wire! Its a good idea!
Hot razor was the one I could put to use . Thanks
2:55 yeah there's something called a "wire stripper". Not sure if you've heard of it
And thats how you destroy electronic components.
good idea with glue sticks thanks,,
Sorry but only the last one was the coolest 😎
very nice
thank you
Dude why people dislike this!
Nice!

Very creative I like it. Thank you for the tutorial👍
There is very cheap and reliable glue gun for no. 4. And it doesn't ruin tip of your soldering iron.
Sorry butt those "hacks" are crap.
Yes you are right instead to using soldering iron I may use a cloth iron and butter paper to join that two sticks using glue sticks
Hahahaha
Wdym 'butt'?
There just typical indians
at least you doing something sir i noticed most of the people think hard to make most bad comment on these kinda videos but i tell you true guys dosent look nice from me good try keep it up very useful if i think hard cheers

I’ll never get those wasted 6 minutes back. A total waste of time.
Thank you NDA Hack you just wasted 6:41 minuets of my life
Awesome ! Thanks for sharing !
A head full of ideas, does not give rest to the hands. 🤓
Now i have a top 5 list of what not to do with a soldering iron
This is very helpful

Can we use this for beer bottle cutting?
Eres un genio vas derechito para la naza con toda esa saviduria
How are these hacks ? They're useless

nice
Excelent!
Thanks.Perfetto
I like the second one
Don't know why people don't like this, these are good ideas. I like the music too, what is it please?
These are gay ideas on how to ruin your soldering iron and also the music is trash
heat with plastic part. Fume intoxication . Don't forget to wear specific mask.

wow the joining of 2 lolly sticks, that will come in Handy.
#2 why not just use wire stripper?
