Oh, you did one of those comments that is used 100 million times a day, ok.

This channel is hugely underrated
Yep
I would like but it’s at 666
Bryan Garcia u are sad
429k subs, hugely underrated?
Is it ? They got 400k subs
The best made video I’ve seen about this topic...and he already has the HALO drawn on the cars😭😂
Your videos are helping me cope with the f1 off season. Keep em coming
You present these subject areas in such great detail and simplicity. Keep them coming :)
Please never stop postings vids like this we love them.
Amazing. I never knew tyre wear was this complicated.
Great, well simplified explanation.
Never knew I was into F1 until I started watching your videos. You make it so accessible!
This is by far one of the best F1 channels out there. You make everything so easy to understand for someone who knew nothing about F1 trying to get into it.
Great great video!! Short, clear, very in depth. And also you added the halo to the cars. I'm now almost getting used to it, I don't think we'll be complaining THAT much about that device in this season.
This comment aged well. No one’s complaining now that our best F1 driver (stats wise) had his life saved by one
You are an angel. Heaven sent! Another great video!
I love watching these video's ! Cant wait for the next topic :)
When he uses the word "bake" when describing the heating process, it just sounds SO satisfying!
I am not an F1 fan but I am hooked to your videos. You explain the material so well that it intrigues even non-watchers. That says something. It has also given me a new found appreciation to the sports since it is incredibly strategic and nuanced.
Absolutely love this channel as someone new getting into F1. I'm learning so well and you explain things so clearly!! Keep it up :)
Love the videos! Excited to see your videos during the 2018 season!
Excellent representation and an even more awesome explanation! Looking forward for more exciting content like this!
CB, Thank you for all the time you put into these videos. I have recently become a HUGE fan of F1, and other than wondering where the heck I have been my whole life missing out on such a great sport, your explanations and descriptions really help a newer fan like myself appreciate the sport more than I otherwise probably would have been able to. You have real talent. Again, THANK YOU! P.S. please keep making more videos!
I’m in that same boat! Recent fan of F1 as of about 5-6 months ago!!
Keep up these fantastic videos. I've been a casual F1 fan since about 2016 but this year I started watching much closer, and your channel really helps with that. This is absolutely my favorite RUclips channel.
Thank you been asking these questions for years and finally found the perfect answer beautifully demonstrated. It confirmed a lot of what I was thinking. You're very talented 👌
I always loved F1, and your videos has helped me get a visualization of the new rule changes and just how the dang sport runs! You are seriously the best and I cannot thank you enough!
Chain Bear: "I'm nearly at 30 000 subscribers now, which is pretty amazing"
*Looks at the sub count which is now at 471 000 subs*
Me: "God damn, he doesn't know yet"
Ahaha
Best F1 channel on RUclips.
I remember how some two years ago your new qualy rules video was recomended to me, best recomendation ever, been a fan ever since
I didn't watch the video yet
Already knew it is going to be AMAZING
I like your videos
I don't really know much about F1's but after watching your channel
I know it is an amazing and complicated race
I started watching your videos when you had just a few videos and around 1000 subs and I was wondering why you don't have more subs when you put out such amazing content. Look at you now. 30k subs. Love your work, keep putting out more amazing content.
I like how you add halos to the cars. Sort of making everyone subliminally get used to it.
Two years later, I couldn't be happier. It's already saved four driver's lives.
The Legacy four? The only one I can think of off the top of my head is leclerc at spa
Willy Kraus probably in f3 and f2 as well
@@neonicplays yep, saved Alexander Peroni in F3 once
I didn't even notice that lol, halos are normal for me haha
>Start of this year celebrating "nearly" 30k
>Now 143k or "nearly" 150k.
Fully deserved, IMO. This man here does some incredible work.
Welcome to 444.000 :D
+27 000 in three month, now its 471 000
Nicely done. Clear and concise. People complain that concepts like tire management are too complicated for a popular sport fan, and I point them to baseball and cricket and ask them to reconsider their position regarding the people's patience. Tyre management is interesting and it adds a dimension of---. I don't need to tell you. Please keep up the great work.
Whenever I have friends who come in new to F1 this is the first place I send them. Great videos!
love your videos!
that's why i became a patreon. keep it up stuart!
Really nice and unique presentation with a good flow.
As a f1 veteran i knew this stuff already and still kept me interested 'till the end.
Well done!
congrats on 30k subs man. looking for more videos! cheers
the best explanation i've seen on youtube. you're the best!
Such a fantastic job with these videos, so informative and well put together, I'm absolutely in love.
Your work is of the highest quality. This is what RUclips has the potential to be with great content creators.
Wow I can’t believe how clear these explanations were, thanks for the upload!
Man your videos are GREAT! You have a nice voice, the explainations are clear as can be.... sometimes I watch them even though I am not interested in the topic !
Details are never painful with you Chain Bear!!!
I love how you added the halo to the animation already. Great videos, keep up the awesome work!
Excellent video man, you are making really good videos. Keep up the Good work! It would be amazing if you can do a video series about how the car is put together i.e. how different parts work together (such as Engine and Gearbox compatibility), and what exactly do teams do when they collect "data" during the practice session and/or Pre-season testing.
Hey! Congrats about your 30k subscribers! I love your channel and your explanations! Keep it up the good work!!
What an amazing video! Super-crisp and informative.
Just want to say, these animations are fantastic, and really help support the verbal explanation.
your videos are awesome ;) keep up the amazing work
Keep up the videos. The animation is amazing!
Just discovered your channel. Great Job. Every fan of F1 should watch your videos.
I could watch these all day. In fact, I do. Thank you!
Perfectly explained as ever. Thanks a million CB!
I've always wanted to know about this, did you read my mind? Amazing explanation!
honestly knew most of this but getting the factuals from your videos is just so enjoyable to watch lol
"I'm nearly at 30,000 subscribers now, which is pretty amazing, I never thought that would happen."
Watching almost exactly one year later - 299k subscribers. Well deserved, sir!
Love it.... Fantastic presentation sir. Look forward to your next videos.
Great video as always! Congrats on 30k subs!
30K, congrats man!
You are the champion in explaining! Good videos!
This taught me heaps, excellent quality video and a very good teacher. I have enjoyed several of these lately, thanks :)
The production quality of your videos is insane
Awesome explanation. I learn a lot since I'm not so knowledge about the tyre wear and how effective the driver weaving their car to make the tyres have more grip in them
This channel is GOLD, thank you!
Very nice video's you're explanations are good and i like the simple way you draw things
WOW! from 30k to 64k in 3 months BIG well done, good luck and hope to see more of your content soon!

I see great things in the future!! Thanks man, keep up the good work :)
I’m here to learn about F1 for my novel and this is an absolutely fantastic channel.
Genius! F1 needs someone like you!
Beautifully explained, as always
It's fairly easy to understand what you speak. Not a native here. Subscribed!
Love your videos. Great job
Very thorough Sir! I did know all of this but thought you explained very well for the simple folk
People should know more of this channel
dude you know your stuff - great videos!!!!
2:26 Since viscosity describes the friction between adjacent layers of fluid (rubber?) and not solids, I wouldn't say the tyre becomes more viscous but (if viscosity really is a suitable term in this context) becomes less viscous (i.e. softer, melty, malleable as you said) and the friction between tyre and street grows.
If ever a channel ‘deserved’ more attention, surely it is this one. I realise the area of interest is somewhat niche, but damn it is good.
GREAT VIDEO CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE
Amazing work on these videos wow
Amazing video. You're chanel one of the best f1 explaining channels (and not only f1, how car work in general). Realy like every one of you're videos. Cheers from Russia, btw. And question: why f1 mechanics couldn't make maximum force of braking pads equals maximum tyre braking force? (ofc during the wear of the tire, the force will decrease, etc)
There are many variables during the race, temperature, weight, downforce, surface ... So making the brakes just to the current situation is not possible. The driver needs to feel the car and needs to act. Also car with downforce is deccelerating really hard at high speed (F1 around 5G) and can deccelerate only 1.5G at slow speed. There is a very big (window) of what brake pressure applied is actually good. I advise you looking into tire characteristic. The tire forces generated are dependend on side slip angle and slip ratio very nonlinear.
Marek Lagger weight and downforce are irrelevant to his question. Weight shouldn’t change(unless rain, where they should be able to correct through data). Downforce can be measured at any circumstance when doing laps on friday/saturday.
Good question from original commentor, would like more of an explenation aswell.
Looking forward to next week!
Absolutely brilliant and well explained.
I really enjoy your videos, very informative thank you
I love how you explain things. 😍
Maybe do a video on eras with multiple tire manufacturers? Love these! Keep em coming!
I fking love this channel, cheers from Argentina
Great videos man!
Smashing these videos! 👍🏻
Cheers, pal
Great knowledge.... This video will help to understand f1
Great video as usual man
Great breakdown. This is why F1 and other circuit racing motorsports are so exciting. Tire selection and performance alone can determine winning or coming in last, no matter how fast your car is. Its why I perfer one lap, time attack type racing. You got one lap to do your best time. You can run your engine at its max/highest hp on a set of always fresh tires. Granted it might not be as exciting spectating, but from a builder, driver standpoint, it is exhilarating!
I love these videos, Keep it up!
Wow, one year ago it was congrats on 30k, that's pretty impressive.
