Kim Jong Un organized the Moranbong band as required by the new century, prompted by a grandiose plan to bring about a dramatic turn in the field of literature and arts this year in which a new century of Juche Korea begins.
The band just several months old raised its curtain for its significant demonstration performance proclaiming its birth before the world.

I swear in my next life I'm coming back as Yoo Eun-jeong's cello. Does she get busy with that thing or what? What an absolute doll. All seriousness aside however, the girls do a great job on Frank's signature tune while keeping that distinctive "Moranbong Band sound". Love to see the elegant Seon-u Hyang-hui get the spotlight at the beginning. Really sweet. They pull out all the stops toward the end. Love it.

@@shiro-gd6tn I'm sure the brand does but the musicians have probably gone on to other things. For example, marriage or teaching. Or maybe into politics. But.I'm thinking the legacy is too valuable to be shoved off to the side. The DPRK has more musicians per square inch than anywhere else on the planet. In north Korea, if you can't play an instrument, you ain't squat. They still have some very good groups. No doubt at some point in the future they'll resurrect the Moranbong Band. On the other hand, why mess with perfection? A second group will be a copy.

Die beste Gruppe der Welt spielt das muffige, altbackene, Selbtbemitleidungsstück May Way, das Arthrose Lied der freien und Satten westlichen Welt. Für Moranbong war es bestimmt mal etwas anderes und auch hier waren sie vielleicht nicht Frei in der Auswahl. Gut das es instrumental gehalten ist, wenn auch teilweise im SCHRECKLICH behäbigen Big band Stil. MEIN WEG, das Rolator Lied!
