There are a lot of black men who feel this way, but there is a flip side to it because there are a lot of black women who are sick of black men as well.
Let them marry whom they want. It's their choice. But no reason to keep comparing white women vs black. Just speak about who you are with. And dont rally the black women when its time for an understanding when injustice happens. Lets us be. #marriedtoawonderfulBlackMan
All I want to say is the grass is not greener on the other side. We, black women, are strong and we care. Sometimes it’s interpreted as drama though. A real black man would appreciate that.
Do you hear yourself. This is yall problem. Your saying a man should appreciate a woman who brings drama, but she really cares. What about the emotional intelligence yall claim to have? emotionally intelligent People know how to communicate without drama... yall are so far gone it's really sad
@@Loveispainj Yes I hear myself. I said it is INTERPRETED as drama not that it really is. When we want to communicate about a problem, you all tend to call that drama and it is NOT. Oftentimes, you expect the problem to go away on its own and it will not. You HAVE to talk about it. We could easily say you men create the drama by walking away every time you have to open up and express yourselves, which you often do. However, we don’t. To our fault sometimes, we stick around hoping you will change. Once again, a real black man understands and can distinguish between drama and caring. I said what I said sir.
@prs8970 drama is drama. Healthy communication is healthy communication, and they are both easily separate from each other. i can never confuse drama with healthy communication. I'm not sure what you're talking about.

The grass STILL has to be mowed there. I also take offense that you feel we are “so far gone.” We definitely could say the same, but I won’t because I know that all black men are not alike. Have a good day.
And one more thing. Do you see how you responded to my original comment? I only stated MY opinion and your response was “Do you hear yourself?” That is NOT healthy communication and I believe you converse that way all the time. That is why you will have problems with a black woman. The majority of us will NOT tolerate being disrespected and talked to any kind of way. Your response clearly came from a place of anger. That anger is what leads to the drama.
If black women thought tbis way about black men there would be no black marriages. Yet, we still loved our black men and tryed to uplift them in the face of extreme adversity.

I understand what you’re saying sir, but any woman no matter the race can have those traits! However, I agree with you that you should choose a woman that makes you feel respected, loved and appreciated!

This is clip from a section of the service called Grapevine. They choose a popular topic in the news or in the community and answer them. When clips are taken out of context and shown it’s hard to get an understanding of why. This is a Q&A platform (in person and online) This is a hot topic though and he ends with marry who you love so……
I appreciate his honesty. It's a reason why lots of good black women don't want to date black men. Sad to say. There is a lot of healing that needs to take place within the black community due to slavery, jim crow, the church, past experiences with each other. We are good people. We're just hurt.
Is that the excuse? Everything is slavery, Jim Crow and of course the usual scapegoat, the church. The reason why GOOD BLACK MEN (Don't flip it, stick to the title of the video) don't date black women is because the black woman left the black man and married the government in the form of LBJ's Great Society. "You have all of the benefits you want but first, he has to go!" In order to resolve this issue, both need to go back to the church to learn and apply God's principles of marriage and relationships. We need to walk in the victory that Christ has given us, not continue to wallow in the past of slavery, Jim Crow, and victimization.
I just don't see the value in getting married. And here in the United States, we've turned the God-ordained institution of marriage into a sad joke! Marriage is the only contract that a woman can break... ...and be rewarded for doing so!
It's a valid critique. I'm kind of weary of having fellow black women as sisters-in-law. Alot of our culture needs a complete do over. I have a strong feeling that I will be the last culturally full African American person in my bloodline. Whether I marry a white man, Asian man, brown latino, Afro-latino or man from the continent of Africa..I don't think I'm called to recreate myself. It's hard to explain. I always have more friends external to the African American culture. I just don't click
Yes, it does need a complete overhaul with you black man leaving it. You all are the predators and always trying to project your insecurities on to black women. It is not Our fault that black men are failures.
It's an unnecessary critique. No one asked anyone about their choice of spouse or friends. The so called pastor and you just wanted to publicly disparage Black women.
A lot of other cultures honor their elders, like Indian, Chinese, Islamic, etc. They take care of their parents or having them living in the household. I understand that many black woman including black men, have issues, that comes with the territory. Many black men use these excuses why not to date or marry black because the white women is easy going, more accepting and will put with a lot a black women may not. This is not surprising for black athletes, entertainers, and rich professionals to date or marry white.
@@DrLoren668I'm unsure why that would make a difference. Marry who you want and if you don't want to support your elders then don't. I don't believe his story and no one is being asked these questions.
