- As 2022 draws to a close, its a great time to look back and reflect on the year that has passed. This video features a range of different airlines, aircraft, filming positions and more at my home airport, Melbourne. This year has been a year of rebuilding and a year of rebound for the aviation industry. Starting off slowly, MEL soon started to really burst to life towards the second half of the year.
This video also reflects on some of the one time visitors of the year, such as National Cargo, Thai's Boeing 777-200s and more! Also included is a range of awesome special liveries that we managed to catch in MEL over the course of the year. Some really colourful ones such as the Malayan Tiger A330, China Eastern Eastday Liveried A330. Ontop of everything, we also saw a few Singapore Airlines A380s flying in for tennis charters towards the beginning of the year!
It has also been a tremendous year for the channel too as we have managed to upload a lot of videos from new airports, countries and so many new airlines never been featured before. I hope everyone has enjoyed the diversity of airlines and airports we have managed to feature on the channel with many more to come in 2023!
Without further ado, I wish everyone a Happy New Year and all the best for 2023!

You should go to Amsterdam Schiphol airport and do some filming there, absolutely fantastic, my favorite spot is Panorama Terrace top open-air deck, close to all the actions of all departing & arriving aircrafts, make at least one doco there, I hope you do it and good luck, as you know Amsterdam International airport has 6 landing strips & at least 2 open for the public behind fencing of course. There is at least a platform for the public at one of the strips (Polderbaan}, very popular with people like you filming, from different countries)

Nice videos but I wish you would allow for complete gear retraction in your edits.
Sorry about that! Sometimes there’s something landing and I cut the takeoffs a little early to film it. Usually I try and make sure to have the gears going up before ending the recording tho!
Wonder why all the China Eastern flights have their windows shades down??
3:50 I don't get it. It's a a350 but has 3x2 wheel! I even searched up just in case this was some sort of modifications. and seems like Its not. so maybe a 777? but the wing let and the size is completely 350. Whats going on
