Sao Paulo Airport is one of the largest airports in Latin America and the largest Airport serving the country of Brazil. The Airport has 2 parallel runways which it uses to divide operations into landings and takeoffs. There are 2 wonderful videography spots that I found in GRU on my recent visit to this wonderful airport.
I spent 5 days filming at this incredible airport and finally have been able to bring a Brazilian Airport to my channel. The purpose of my trip to GRU, aside from the normal operations, was the Total Air Cargo 727 which is featured in this video. It's one of 3 active 727 carriers still flying around South America.

A B727 at 6:02!!! Wow we certainly don't see that in the NY area airports.
That B727 is the oldest big jet aircraft operating in Brazil. Built in 1976. Unfortunately it got stuck on POA (Porto Alegre Airport) in Rio Grande do Sul due to the floods. I fear it won't fly again, but I hope for the best.

Im surprised there wasn't many Embraers there!
The only airline that operates Embraer in Brazil is Azul but their main HUB is Viracopos (VCP) airport which is also in Sao Paulo. They have 62 E-Jets on their fleet (195s and 195-E2s).

@@MASPlanesMalaysianaviation Air Canada, Ethiopian, British Airways, Emirates and Turkish operate flights between Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo and Rio due to the lack of sufficient demand for flights from Buenos Aires to the home countries of these companies and due to the high demand for flights between Brazil and Argentina. So these are regular flights.

GRU is a big playground for aviation enthusiasts in Brazil. unfortunately, is the only one with intense heavy international traffic, other airports, like GIG, do have it too, but don't compare to GRU.
I'm "blessed" for have an Aunt/Godmother who lives right on the pathway of the runways and I love her house because of that.

Hello! I have always enjoyed watching your videos. I recently purchased a Sony RX10 IV and have a decent tripod. I noticed with 4K I was getting some bumpy footage no matter how smooth I attempted to be. I tried stabilization in iMovie which was decent and then decided to buy Final Cut Pro which offers additional customization with the stabilization but still is not to the level of your videos. I see you use Adobe Premier Pro. Do you have any tips or tricks on how to get the level of smoothness seen in your videos? Keep up the great work! Cheers

There is plenty, i guess he just prefered to show more variety of airlines…
I assume he only showed the international flights and a few nice liveries on the smaller airplanes. But there plenty of Latam domestic flights everyday departing and arriving in São Paulo. I assume it would just get boring to see 100 A320s with the same livery in the same video.
