- You got a sneak peek of the fiber optic trenching property improvement project in our new Missouri homestead, here is additional content along with the ongoing cleanup in prep for our upcoming move from Southern Illinois.
This is a massive life undertaking and we'd love to have you join us for all of the adventures as this time we will be documenting and sharing the entire journey! Thank you! Here is some background from the last few episodes in case you are new to our channel:
ON THE LAST EPISODE:
It was a last minute, hasty road trip, but we had some big success! Join me for today's 575 Acre Missouri farm road trip and updates as I take another load of our stuff and equipment from Southern Illinois over to our new 575 acre Southern Missouri farm. THIS MORNING:
This home has TWO complete Geothermal heat pump units and one of them is not working! The home is large enough that it needed TWO of the Geothermal heat pump units to effective heat and cool the home. So I was able to get 3 appointments scheduled for the next morning; The Alarm company, the Geothermal AC repair tech and the power company/high speed fiber optic contractor to see about getting high speed fiber optic internet line brought in to the home! Our Missouri home has a driveway that is over a mile long and they plan on trenching/burying the high speed fiber optic line next week!
TODAY'S VIDEO: I started on multiple bush hogging missions with my KIOTI RX7320 and the RHINO 6' HD bush hog! I'll start to clean up the side yard behind the lean to barn and I'll head down a long deep woods road in reverse to get the trail open up with my Kioti RX7320. This is an overgrown jungle, in some areas it is well over 10 feet high! Join me in the tractor cab as we make some success happen today! Also I will start clearing the pond edges and the pond dam, but that was just a little sketchy! lol.
Thanks for joining me today, if you are new to the channel here is some background on our channel and our new Missouri home and land:
Was this Divine Intervention? While many may not believe, I do keep the faith when it comes to living this life and putting certain priorities above others. Join me for today's episode #1 of our new life, land and Ozarks Missouri adventures! Recently we bought a 575 acre Southern Missouri farm in the Ozarks and today will be our first moving trip, our first road trip after legally owning the new 575 acre Missouri farm, and all of the adventures that go along with it. Join us for today's episode as I begin our moving process from Southern Illinois over to Southern Missouri. Today I'll tackle some of the challenges associated with equipment hauling over such a long distance. In this episode I'll be hauling my KIOTI RX7320 powershuttle cab tractor, my home made chisel disc plow and some other equipment on my equipment trailer. Oh, and I almost had a near disasterous collision in the St. Louis area as a car literally broke down only a few cars ahead of me, so while cruising at 65 mph there was a completely stopped car right in front of me and I had nowhere to go in either lane, left or right of me, so I locked up all of the brakes on my Ford F250 and the equipment trailer, and fortunately I don't tailgate so I had enough room to get my truck and equipment trailer stopped just in the nick of time! Also today I'll give you an up close and realtime view of the dead end gravel road that our new 575 acre Missouri farm sits on, and then a look at our OVER a mile long private gravel driveway as well. This is a very exciting episode and we thank you for joining us! If you enjoyed today's video episode please hit the like button and consider subscribing to join us for all of our new life and land adventures from our new land in the Ozarks of Missouri! Thanks for joining us today and we hope you'll consider joining us on our new Missouri homestead and land purchase and all of our future land adventures, land investment adventures and projects, and all of our new Missouri home rehab projects and much more! Oh and by the way if you are interested in making a Missouri land investment and being our neighbors (literally) on a dead end road, and then a dead end, private, gated road enjoying a stunning place to hunt, or build your dream home or a deep woods retreat then you can contact us at Kapper@kapperoutdoors.com

Great achievement for one days work 🤔💪💪👌
No doubt! We've had some major success' lately!!
Awesome progress! That cool trolling motor made it ❤!

Coming along nicely Kapper.
Right on! Great progress these last weeks! Thank you
A lot accomplished, good progress!
It has been a blur but lots getting done every trip over there! Thank you
Good progress Kap. Once you get everything into one pile, you can ease up a bit!
Man I wish we could ease up some now!!
i love that view out of your office window. Love see that Missouri view.
Yes it is improving! But wait, it will get much better yet!! Thanks
Amazing haven't seen a sn
Yeah there is plenty of rocks! First time outside the building I was attempting to dig one hole so i could hang a hose to store it. I would dig a little take a break dig a little forget what I was doing, dig some more till finally got the hole deep enough to put the metal post in and concrete it. I have ADHD and it is tuff to stay focused. Last year we had a old horse shed stall blow over the wood fence and i just went ahead and dismantle it and this spring cut the panels in half so they will fit in a roll off and get them out of my building. Most of the good wood and plywood i used to build things with. The other owners had made a short pen for their meat birds and I took it apart, cut it up to get rid of also. Sure is nice to have a tractor and a set of forks. I had bought some Ken's bolt on hooks for the bucket and they came in handy to pull the remaining of the pen out of the weeds, so to keep the bugs from biting me. Only good thing about living in Florida was the garbage guys would pick up old tires. Missouri that's not going to happen and I have found plenty of them since living here.
Well it is easy for many people to lose focus and get distracted! lol. Especially the older we get!
That vent noise could be the exhaust for the central vac system??? Maybe IDK. I stopped video @ 26:20 to type, @26:33 you told us what it was, I got lucky in my guess, Thanks for clarifying.
Great guess before you knew!! I sure never thought of that one!! lol Nice!
You and the wife are making progress there..If I missed it, why didn't you decide on Starlink. Also would be nice to have a crank out or a window that opens to that view from your office.
Initially we were going to do Starlink. But since fiber was at the road it was a not brainer! Much faster, more reliable and free install!! Starlink would have been about $3,000 for the equipment, and no warranty for hail or wind damage. This was a HUGE win for us!! Thanks
Progress is nice! TFS
You bet! Thank you!
Mucho work! I'm tired just watchin ya😅
Man you ain't kidding! I've been a hurting puppy dog for weeks now! One long day and it wipes me out for 2! lol
I have a pallet of the heavy duty incandescent bulbs in my warehouse..
lol once they make anything 'illegal' then we want more of it!!
I love being 1st. Just started watching, can't wait 😂
Ha you work like I do ! But I don’t tote a camera around well done sir ! Be careful of the heat drink electrolyte replacement on a regular basis helps with the cramps I’m 63 landscaper in Virginia the heat don’t play !
Yeah I've had many night cramps over in MO already!! One day I forgot gatoraide so I drank salt water and it worked for almost no cramps that night!!
The fiber internet cable guy should have had a ditch witch machine.
That's your radon mitigation system from your basement
What's the siding on the house? Painted wood? Steel? A composite? Vinyl?
It is metal siding. Probably painted too.
I really like the look of it. I need to paint or side my house.... and I HATE painting. Not in love with vinyl. Thanks for the reply Kapper
Can't believe, being in Missouri he doesn't have a rock saw machine to do these jobs.
I don't believe I've ever seen a 'rock saw,' but it sure sounds cool!
@@KapperOutdoors2.0 Andrew Camarata has one. Has a RUclips channel from New York. They have a lot of rock so those are basically a requirement
Haven't seen a snake
lol there was a big rat snake in the lean to on one of our first trips!!
I'm wore out just watching you work.
Yeah no doubt! I'm still wore out from that one day! lol. But we are taking it one bite at a time!! Thanks
