Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX Review 2024

One of the biggest surprise two-wheeler launches of 2022 is the Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX. The V-Strom SX is the first affordable ADV two-wheeler offering from the Japanese two-wheeler giant for the Indian market and also its third 250cc motorcycle. The Suzuki V-Strom SX is powered by the same 250cc engine as seen on its other 250cc siblings and even the gear ratios are identical. What is different though is the styling, the V-Strom 250 looks like a scaled-down version of the bigger V-Strom 1050 and the V-Strom 650.
The new Suzuki 250cc ADV bike features an LED headlight, an all-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for navigation, call and message alerts, and even an external USB charger. While the bike has the visual appeal of a proper adventure bike, the Suzuki V-Strom doesn’t have the kit to justify the V-Strom name. The suspension travel is similar to its road-spec offerings and it doesn’t even get dual-channel ABS. We head out for a 230km road trip from Dharamshala to Manali to find out if the V-Strom 250 SX is a proper adventure tourer or if it's just a sudo ADV bike.
