This is something I've been dealing with for YEARS. I have natural dark lips and I have tried EVERY SINGLE trick in the book! I finally found the answer in this $5 bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar! I'm excited that I was able to alter the color of my lips NATURALLY. BE CAREFUL! ACV can burn you so PLEASE DILUTE! When I first started I did a 1:1 ratio between water and ACV, after awhile I did 3:1 (more ACV than water) and now I use ACV undiluted. DO NOT EXCEED the 10 minutes of recommended use! As dry and rough as my lips are I never exceed 10 minutes and still got amazing results. I started off using this every other day, then I started using this once-twice a week. I now use this as needed. This video was filmed a month ago (sorry I'm slow at editing) and I STILL HAVE MY RESULTS!
This is not clickbait, I'm putting myself and my insecurity out there to help others in my shoes. I originally didn't plan on posting because the coldsore in this video made me anxious in being judged. The coldsore shows proof that this video was filmed within a 2 week span since you guys watch it disappear in the before and after pics.

The ACV is the main thing I used but I LOVED the effects of the Almond OIL, Almond oil is used for naturally lightening the lips. I used it twice a day. Its not required but HIGHLY recommended.

I'm trying now. Praying it works for me as well. I've been rubbing it in with a qtip then applying lip balm immediately after. This time I soaked them in the acv and water and will see 🙏

So I tried this thing, and no jokes. I see changes the second use. But hay, I get so up into myself and rub my lips the second time which was a bad idea so never rub just apply and leave it. Remember to keep your lips moisturized and drink a lot of water. This method is excellent.

Thank you so much for making this video!!! I have been doing this on my lips that have hyperpigmentation and it works! It's been about 5 days and I use it every day because how severely dark they are. I only dilute the acv just a little bit of water so it is pretty strong still. I leave on 10 min and then use jojoba oil and then apply aquaphor. .I tried almond oil but ran out and I had jojoba on hand and I think jojoba actually works better for me.And I use that all day on my lips. Anytime I feel my lips have nothing on them, I put the jojoba oil then aquaphor on. My Lips healing to the natural pink of my lips very quickly. And truthfully walked out the house today not feeling insecure about my lips. 🥰🥰

@@kendrionnaclark5265 I am not sure but it's worth a try since it works for lips and lips have thinner layers of skin compared to our actual face and body. It is a natural exfoliator so I think it may work. Sometimes you just have to experiment. I know tumeric and Greek yogurt mixed together works well for a face mask

I learned from a dermatologist some people really need to use sunscreen on their lips because of sun damage also some people lips get dark due to eczema on the lips. So glad this helped you I’m gonna try it too.
You absolutely have to use sunscreen on your lips. I was experiencing the same and was told to use at least spf15. Rub on your face, neck then right over your lips. Or get lip balm or lipstick that has sunscreen. 😊

This really worked. I love that I found this video. I got lip blushing first and it did nothing. I used scrubs also and it did not work. I’ve been using this acv for about a week and a half now and the results are so amazing. I can’t believe it. Thanks you so much.

@@33shadesoflife honestly, it did not continue to work. So I’d say no to this. I got lip blush twice but someone else and I also get lip filler. So my lips are lighter now and they look healthier. Not due to this though.

this works! had hyperpigmentation from chapped lips and dead skin and stuff, and used this for 2 days at night along with a turmeric mask and sugar scrub (abis remedies) and my lips are a lot less brown! like it wasn’t THAT bad but it still made me insecure, i have hope now that my lips can go back to normal, thank youuu

I swear by turmeric. It gives me a beautiful glow. I mix it with honey or coconut oil and mask it on my face. I used to have hyperpigmentation on my face and dark marks. That turmeric made everything evenly brown and glowy✨

I just tried the method with organic ACV and i’ve just rinsed it and applied shea butter. I did not dilute it and kept it for 10min as advised. My lips turned blue and tingly during the process, I had to rinse it with face wash and water. I have applied shea butter, now the color is fading, the tingles too, and my lips, oh my! Soft and plump, and rosier after this very first use! I will make sure to delute the thing next time cause yes, it’s kind of scary. Thank you so much for this video ❤❤

I underwent a lip lightening laser recently. It was kinda painful and the doc said I need to have 4-6 sessions to see the difference. It is hella expensive for me and I am gonna try this remedy hoping to achieve the same results. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. Subbed💕

@@ola3rd the laser didn't work also she used the CO2 fractional laser which isn't for hyperpigmentation. As for this remedy I do see a very clear difference in my elbow colour and just used it for 5 days in a row. Didn't dilute. On the lips... Can't say for sure

No way this actually works! Rarely do i comment on videos but I just had to here, been researching trying to find a quick/solution to getting my lips back to a lighter pinkier hue which ive lost over 3 yrs of regular smoking. Somehow landed on this video, so I got some standard ACV from the supermarket last night followed your video, next day (today) couldnt stop looking at myself/lips in the mirror the difference from 1 use is mind blowing, im constantly trying to get a closer look thinking how can it have worked like this so quickly its like so lush and smooth as well o.o. Like everyone else on this post, I too came back to say thank you because your technique works wonders for me. The vinegar was burning my lips while applying it but my lips are looking better after just after one tried. I will do it twice a week to maintan my lips brighness as you sugested.

Baking soda also does wonders for the lips. I've used it multiple times and accomplished the same outcome. For those who can't stand the smell of ACV I'd recommend using baking soda. Making sure you dilute it with water first, I usually add water until it becomes like paste.

@@rachealprempeh1663 You can do whichever works for you, I leave it on for 5-10 minutes each time and I started seening results after a week. You should also use Vaseline or carmax or anything type of moisture to keep your lips from drying up throughout the process.

Y’all this is working ! And I’m a very skeptical person when it comes to home remedies . I noticed this dark patch on my bottom lip on this last Sunday. Now I’ve always had dark lips and was never ashamed but that spot really bothered me bc it came out of nowhere. So Monday I used the ACV . Noticed my lips were getting extremely dry and peeling. By Tuesday night I noticed the spot fading and I’m a believer lol so I would recommend trying this. Tfs 😊

I also drink AcV diluted with water, and it work for weight loss. Acv also got rid of 4 moles I had, 3 on my neck and 1 above my eye. I couldn’t believe it. It did take 2 months but they all fell off. Now I will do this for my lips,mine got dry I think from when I use to smoke trees 🌳. Thanks for the info
@@crabbylion7971 I put some acv in a little jar, i did not dilute it, I dip a cutip in it and put directly on the the moles. I believe if I did everyday they would’ve fell off quicker. As you do it you will see after time it shrinking and peeling away from your skin. At first I didn’t think it would work because I did not see nothing immediately. I decided to just keep trying, once I saw it shrinking and pulling away from my skin that motivated me to do it everyday. I remember the big one on right side of my neck falling off first, I couldn’t believe it so I kept applying on the other 2 and by the end of week other 2 fell of. If you have moles try it. Heads up don’t stop if not working immediately, but I promise you, keep doing and you’ll see for yourself.

Ok I’m back with a update the 1st time I diluted in water & it was ok the second time I did it was with just straight apple cider vinegar lol it was a bit to strong my lips starting burning then my lips wouldn’t stop peeling for 2 days I almost had a panic attack but after peeling they came out so nice & soft & much brighter

@@shanzboo2541 since it’s your first time, use it for 4 days in a row then when it’s starts to lighten up use as needed, leave on for 10 minutes then wash off, i do it at night since mines are lighter now but you can do morning and night when you start

I’m going to give this a try I have a mild form of eczema and every time I have an outbreak my lips get so dark, I absolutely hate it and it takes a month for my lips to turn back to its natural color, but this time around it’s taking way longer and I hate it 😩
Eczema is what darkens my lips too! It comes and goes but my lips suffer. This remedy helps with the darkness tho

lemon juice is strong enough to burn through rust and destroys your skins acid barrier. it causes photosensitivity so your skin will get even darker if exposed to sunlight. dont recommend it
I’ve been smoking for 18 years. My lips didn’t get discolored till I started smoking blunts in my 20s. I’m weed free for a week now and my lips have definitely been an ugly reminder. Did this 3 days in a row. The morning after the third my lips peeled in sheets but it’s so much brighter! Gonna move to every other day till I get my pink lips back!!!

Okay, y’all. Comment below if you want updates. I’m about to try this for two weeks and let you know if it works on me. I have a super melanated upper lip (I’m East African). Never smoked or anything so it’s naturally dark. I’m gonna see if this helps at all. I’ll be using apple cider vinegar (ACV) every other day, and alternative days I’ll use kojic acid.
1st try - 6/1/24 - ACV use - No change. Looks exactly the same.
2nd try - 6/2/24 - Kojic acid - No change. Looks exactly the same.
3rd try - 6/3/24 - ACV - No change. Looks exactly the same.
4th try - 6/4/24 - Kojic acid - No change. Looks exactly the same.
5th try - 6/5/2024 - ACV use - No change. Looks exactly the same.
(Starting to wonder if this just doesn’t work. Will keep up with it though lol).
6th try - 6/6/24 - Kojic acid - No change. Looks exactly the same.
7th try - 6/7/24 - ACV - No change. Looks exactly the same.
Final thoughts: So I didn’t update this comment but I DID do the ACV and Kojic acid every day straight for 2 weeks. I didn’t miss a day. Up until the 14th.
I’ve stopped though because there was 0 change to my lips. My lips are exactly the same lol. So if you’re naturally dark lipped then this doesn’t work friends!
