@@shashankshekhar3791would recommend the m3 air instead. I heard of an issue with the ssd of the m2 since it’s just one and not two like the m1 air. This issue is fixed though on the m3 air which is why I recommend it. Still if you do decide to get the m2 air, it’s a great laptop. I have one and it’s very fast.

The title says M1 Air vs M2 speed test although the laptop on the left looks to be M1 Pro. The M1 vs M2 variant still applies but yeah. To anyone who is wondering which one to get, either. The M2 is snappier but you won't notice THAT much of a difference to care. I know this because I have both.

Title says M1 Pro not air and regardless 13 in M1 Pro has essentially the same performance as an m1 air with same chip, same cpu cores, and only one extra gpu core.

If money was no object between the two, go for the latest one, which in this case, M2 Air.
If money is a concern, go M1 Air, you won't notice THAT much of a difference. I love the M1 Air that much.

Both the M1 air and M1 Pro has a very similar performance.
Also while we are on this talk, stop giving people choice which you have zero knowledge of, Apple will only support M1 models for the next 4 years where as the new M2 will be supported for the next 8 years. Hardware in you computer dosent matter as long as your software is capable of running the operations smoothly.
