Very eventful round in Riga! DMGP Rd.4

- Hello guys!
Riga, known for its unique track and passion for drifting, once again becomes the arena for spectacular battles of the best drifters from around the world every year. This is how this year's round looks from my and my team's perspective. It's not the luckiest round in my history, but heads up, we learn our lessons and move forward.

Every round we bow out due to mechanicals, that just means when the car works, piotr is gonna be unstoppable
he already is. from what he drove back in FD side by side with james dean, and now he got even better in DMEC, he has nothing to prove anymore, he is one of the very best... plus even with a new car, this type of driver can have a good run and eliminate ANYONE out of nothing... so yeah... as far as podiums go.. he will get there again, is just a question of time... if he gets tired of not having a podium he might just pull the S15 back and get one almost anytime he wants 😅
@@P4FElton Yh he's a machine, remember 2021 and 2022. Even in 2023 he was plugging until the car decided otherwise. But as far as the Supra goes, his consistency now depends on the car. And about the S15, It was too easy so he decided to take on a new challenge, but as far as driving the Supra goes, he has partners for the Supra for the whole of 2024 so he'll have to use it this whole year. But trust the process, there are not alot of people out there that can build a worthouse chassis. And worthouse is proven

You are a world class driver and you will be on top again, just focus on your mental state and shake all doubt and worries out, do a bit of cleanup and things will start working out again 🤩

Finishing the run on a flat tire was hella impressive. Also, the Supra doubters seem to be a lot quieter after it topped qualification...

Wow, this round was really heartbrokening. Actually, this whole season is. also taught last season, that this chassis will blow everything, but it just blows the budget of the team. I don't know what haven't happen to you yet this season, but you got all the odds against you. Now even the judges are coming with stupid explanations (Btw, I am not betting at all, but if I would, I would bet a lot of money, that this season the champion will be Irish again. Also feel sorry for Lauri, he was the most consistent driver this season).
It is what it is, we are waiting all your new battles, and hopefully will see you again in Warsaw.

You looked really good when the car was working. Mckeever getting lost in the smoke is a him problem. He's supposed to be following your line, and if he's doing that, he wouldn't be lost in the smoke.
They made the same decision with Jack Shanahan I think against someone

Dla mnie przejazd z Mckeeverem byl wygrany. Dziwna decyzja sędziów.
To trochę wygląda tak, jakby kierowcy, którzy są wyżej w tabeli mistrzostw mieli większe "fory" od sędziów. Aby nie popsuć walki o mistrzostwo, mogą zrobić więcej błędów ;-)

All things considered a tire debead is the least bad of all the technical issues you could have had, at least it's the easiest thing to fix for the future.
Getting 1st place in qualifier is going to be a problem when tuning a new car though since you go first on race day and your spotter can't suggest changes based on other drivers who went before you.
I watched you and Duanes battle live on tv, that was really disappointing decision from judges in my eyes. Instead of slowing down when blinded by smoke (in showdown) he dove and missed full zone, sending himself halfway through the corner. All best luck to you Piotr.

That asphalt needs fixing. You and Lauri Heinonen both punctured tires at the second clip. If you pause the video at 4:08 before Wieceks car is on the second clip you can clearly see how bad the asphalt is there next to the curb. I was personally there and i could almost fit my fist in it.
The referees were unfair to you. Looks like you'll have to beat the referees next year.

I wouldn't say that. Its his first year in a new chassis. Not everyone gonna just make a new Chassis and start dominating from the rip. This is a year of development and learning the car in a competitive setting. Every event we're seeing he's getting more comfortable and more dialed.

It took Deane almost the whole last season to learn the rtr and now look what's happening, be patient 😪
@@slobry it didnt take that long time for james bro....mustang is already proven that suitable at controling the body while sliding since 2005 in usa and europe but supra a90 is not yet for sure
you can check a90 takes little bit long time on get the championship trophy since a90 realeased, 2019 with the platform toyota gr thats the why supra gets the doubts from mainly drifters
