Chris Metzen returning to blizz con and being on the stage again after so many years will probably make me shed a tear honestly hahah, the guy is literally the most likeable person in all of Blizzard, and creator of the whole lore basically, I applaud him

I was scanning RUclips offerings and saw Metzen's picture and just got excited. As a dedicated lore fan, Metzen's return and anything they can get him to do will be awesome in my book. I'll be doing virtual Blizzcon but still way excited for it.
I remember when the Twitter warriors were all over Metzen after the Blizzard lawsuit claiming he was part of it and everything. Glad to see Metzen didn't get cancelled for something he didn't do and he is still here in good spirits.
Thrall being on the Blizzcon promo for this year is probably the most important hint at the next expansion. Idk if that means we're dealing with the elements on Azeroth going out of control or something else, but a void expansion with Thrall doesn't seem to fit.
Void corrupted elementals/elemental powers are the only thing to fight void. P ez fix

Metzen is literally the face of Warcraft and since he left in 2016, we all felt the giant piece that was missing.
He came back as narrative story advisor I believe.

I actually really liked reforging a lot. Made meh gear pieces more useful

Reforging was amazing. Blizzard took it out on the pretense that it was deemed ''too powerfull'' aka ''broken'' aka ''overpowered'' etc. The thing is that at the momment primary stats are priority for damage and secondary stats arent nearly as important as they used to be. So i would definitely, most definitely be glad to have reforging back. As a bm hunter spending months trying to reach an ideal 30% haste (along with crit and mastery) really had me banging my head against the table like asmongold because my gameplay had gotten slow as hell.
It gave us too many options and therefore it had to be removed....
@@The86Ripper the answer to this would be to make the other stats more attractive if players are reforging to a particular one or two
7:12 what if it's a color variation changer, so u can mix match all the possible colors outther, for older items ... maybe activating some colors via some achivments etc
It would be great to change colours of your gear, make transmogs even more unique.
I wish the heritage armours included sets for every armour type.(cloth, leather, mail and plate)
Would be cool, since a human can be hunter(mail), monk(leather), mage(cloth), and plate wearers like paladins and warriors. But for that they already have tier sets, I think this will be they excuses
I would like this if it was possible to interchange every armour type between classes as well. I really like the more battle armor look on my priest for the human heritage armor.
@@cshadekillerproductions Agreed. There are way too many armor pieces that don't look like the correct armor type on people using them that limiting transmog options makes no sense anymore. Just keep the class sets exclusive to classes and it'd be fine and give players tons of new options.
My guess would be that the Arcane Forge would be for Scrapping (old BFA function) and/or Disenchanting (for non-enchanters, a function which we had back in WoD). Both would make sense.
I'm looking forward to the next patch. Heroic Dawn of the Infinite, and the heritage sets most of all.
Looking at where the positioning is. its in the crafting area and right near the weekly quest NPCs for knowledge. it will most likely be either for expending excess knowledge for mettle or allowing players to respec professions for a cost
they are really stepping up their game with content, i love it, im stoked to see blizz going again, i didnt know if it would ever get decent after SL lol
Arcane Forge will either be a new upgrade system for crafting existing and new gear with a higher item level or will be a new customization system for a new item (either a ring, trinket or necklace AGAIN) that will be BiS possibly upgradeable on a weekly basis or some other scaling effect.
The potions being account-wide is a relief - means I can still do one TW dungeon per alt to maximise badge income.
It seems like blizzcon is coming up so fast. We don’t even really know what 10.2 is gonna look like yet let alone 10.3. I suspect if they do announce the expansion they will also discuss the content timeline for next year.
Timewalking dungeons should be set to the expansion ending level as to the same level of a character should be able to do them at those levels.
Sadly I’ve finally hit that point where I don’t care at all about wow/lore/expansions. Rip the good times

Could it be possible that, at the end of each dungeon, the buff (including the stacks) is distilled into a BoA potion? You could then run TW on any toon, just sending this stacked BoA potion back and forth as you go? It'd have to reset each week, of course... (I'm thinking of that undead damage bonus potion you get in Scholo... )
And I'm praying that arcane forge near the profession vendors has something to do with profession knowledge catchup... even though I doubt it. :(

WoW has always been at the top, it’s the most played MMO even at it’s low points. Not even counting Classic.

Time rifts were full of people eating. And I always see people farming furborg rep and doing the blue dragonflight quest. Other activities I don't see as many people

I truly hope that the next retail WoW expansion is NOT void related. The void have never interested me. I would like to see something like a revamp of Azeroth and all of us finally going back to our home and adventuring where it all started. Maybe call the new expansion "World of Warcraft: The Journey Home" or something like that. We spent too much time in the shadowlands, now the dragon isles, it's time to go back, that's all I'm saying.

Not gonna lie, Metzen is THE guy for Blizzard. NO ONE can do what he does. He has something special about him.
they dont release numbers but tis not hard to guess its very low currently, everyone left again, im playing on a very big realm but towns are empty, only in valdrakken you see a handful people. Blizz got to deliver or more will play other games. I mean i am one of these who got the account always active, im playing since server launch in EU, so around 18 years and i dont plan to leave, but i still hope to get something worthwhile my stay.
The arcane forge looks more like grey titan architecture to me.
I don't want to wait for XP buff! I want it now! I'm so close to levelling all 13 of my alts to 70!
reforging but with missives (stat items for crafted items)? that would work that way its replacing a stat rather than changing half of it to another stat you can just add it on to your gear like a gem. this way i feel would reduce people grabbing non bis stuff just to reforge into a good stat and can just change the gear they already have.
The tacklebox problem was easily fixed with a color adjustment WA. Why can't Blizz just adjust the color of the map indicator in a similar way? Because there are times when I'm actually interested in scooping up the tackleboxes, but not actually fishing.
How about this; Return to Draenor but on another continent. The light and shadow are fighting for control of a dying Draenor and we have to choose a side. Ogres for Horde, Arrakoa for Alliance. Make it happen Blizzard!
well the device is most defenitly a re-use from the skill option on the vindicaar's lower floor during legion.

Yes, this, I Liked Cataclysm, Despite its flaws, and Do want to go back, however I don't want to make the WoTLK Players Homeless so I can have what I seek
@@magesticalmysterium6856I'd play Cataclysm Classic just for the original Vashj'ir finale that was removed during MoP. The reason for that was many players experienced bugs, such as being stuck in the submarine. Rather than fixing the bugs, Blizzard butchered it, by replacing the finale with a generic kill quest, but the rewards are the same.
That’s actually a really good idea because I can bet most people who would play cata classic have never seen the original world revamp.
I am unapologetic when I say this, I love Chris Metzen. I am glad he is back.
Yep, he may have made a a few mistakes but let's not forget he also delivered the biggest wins.

Did you miss the part where the potions say ACCOUNT BOUND? Do 10 dungeons on your max toons and mail them to your leveling alt.
i’ll tell you what if they extended every event in wow to every level character, then it would be so much better because you could use different events and gameplay systems to level up characters which would make it fun. Part of the problem with leveling up alternate characters in. Wow, is that the latest zones only become available after the next expansion by that point you’ve already done them over and over and over again and are sick of them but maybe a few years later they will be exciting again. Instead allow people to level up in these areas at any point in time once you unlock that area with your main character, it should be open to all your characters irregardless of level.
When blizzard fails to make any pieces worth anything to several classes to drop in the mega dungeon...reforging is looking pretty good when the only upgrades will be high keys for most until next season. There is no up for many because they don't have the time to dedicate to mythic raiding or simply dislike running 16s for aspects to craft constantly. Aberrus was old a month ago and we have several to go...
Really hope dragonriding won't be a thing in the next expansion, and that it goes back to simple ground mounts and simple flying mounts.

I want the expansion to start off with ground mounts only, like before. Right now, all we did was fly over every little detail while zooming to the quest marker. The world feels less alive because of that alone

Just because they are releasing new content and making the game good again doesn't mean players are enjoying themselves. The game has to many toxic players and to much work. When players think a support class that is meant to help boost everyone else is bad just shows that the players are the issue and that needs fixing. The game can be good but players are what make or break the game. FF14 still has the best community of players right now. Until wow community can get back to that then it is a waste of time

Usually I hate most expansions that start off as something but then deviate to a random left field old god or whatever it is that seems out of place. But we need to go away from dragons FAST, they are sadly not interesting anymore. I actually loved the parts of dragonflight that were NOT dragons, like TUSKARR and Gnolls! or even the centaur! I really hope 10.2 is going in a fresh direction and giving us a real threat to work with.
Experience buffs, etc. shouldn't be made so complicated that we need to watch videos explaining how to do them.

Ill never understand praise for xp boosts, especially as frequent as WoW has them. Boosts are a sign of when a gane isn't fun.
As I told a friend who got absolutely irate over it, Blizzard cannot make the entire playerbase happy. There will always be a chunk of players that will not like/really hate whatever they've done. I for one like XP boosts, especially after having leveled multiple characters over my 17 years of playing. For some people, once you do it a few times, it feels like a chore. For others, its always a refreshing feeling. And neither side will be happy when the OTHER side gets what they want.
The tackleboxes are chests though. I'd be pissed if i was fishing and found a box instead of a fishing hole.
Also, Perun? Like the Perun who does hours long Power Point presentations about defense logistics and procurement? Not going to lie, I fucking love the guy, but I can't imagine the rest of the WoW community being about it.
I just hope they dont rush it -- i m willing to bet that a lot of people will not care about the 18month cadence - lets the xpacs take a long as they need (just a me thing on that last part - just saying)

3:30 Level 60-70 is already so god damn fast, this potion sounds cool and all but super unnecessary considering you can't do TW 10-70 anymore.

Blizz has a lot of loose story line threads to tie up, I hope we get some conclusions or something soon. Getting kinda tired of waiting to see what happened to Anduin or what will happen in Gilneas and Lordaeron.

I just cant play an rpg where the leveling process just isnt fun anymore. Levels just have no meaning anymore in this game.
I have had a good idea for blizzard but they probably would never listen. I said the diablo buff should be given to new players for 90 days. Let those new accounts level up mega quit as many characters as they can and then try out endgame where the game is mostly played. They would retain new players and possible boost up the player base by a ton. Right now having new players level up from 1-60 is almost impossible task. People will not want to keep playing. Make it happen Blizzard.

I cant speak for everyone, but Blizzard better knock us off our feet with Blizzcon or they are going to end up loosing allot of subs, I'm hoping for a patch 9.3 after 9.2 leading into a void expansion revealing the back of Azeroth!
I still say Holy War expansion with the cosmic forces making landfall on Azeroth and they all are fighting over their claim for Azeroth herself so the Naaru/Old Gods/Legion/Titans/Primalist/Death Pantheon/Etc.
Perhaps even see all hell breaks loose moment of the Devourers finding their way into our world and has already consumed other worlds thus why the Legion is here, because of an unlikely alliance seeing the Devourers even corrupted by the Fel but unable to be controlled so the Devourers have both Domination and Fel Magic now seeking Azeroth to not claim Azeroth but to devour her with even the Old Gods struggling to stop the Devourers.
I don't wanna fast leveling per se. What I want is a meaning journey. Something dangerous, beautiful, to know and like places I came across.

This is all good and well but as long as class tuning is as hilariously broken as it is none of it matters. The fact that they have such a stale and broken meta and the only reaction they have to it is need other classes vs looking at the mechanics of what makes the meta useful tells me you have devs who don’t even play their game.
