- There are many great Toronto Fishing Spots for chinook salmon in and around the greater Toronto area. On this day I take out the winner of this months Tacklebox Lottery raffle to the Durham Region of Lake Ontario. “Bassmaster Tom" and his family head out for some casting crankbaits for salmon and pike. We went to one of the best fishing spots near Toronto for salmon casting. Toronto salmon fishing can be tricky at times, the temperature of the lake can drastically affect the salmon bite, the salmon can be jumping all around you but if the temperature isn't right finding key crankbaits for salmon is very important.

@@TaroMurata it was awesome. He was so excited. I love when kids get on my boat. Their like good luck charms and catch the biggest fish. Nearly every kids this past season pulled a fish Ohio walleye on Erie (28”+ ).

You know Taro I always figured you for one of those dads at the hockey arena smashing the glass screaming at your kid but after this video I see you have a softer side. Now you wait for the drive home to scream at your son ( just hockey dad humor). Seriously awesome vid taking the kids out. The look on a kids face when they hook into a big fish is the same one they get when they open there favorite Christmas present.
I never skated a day in my life but my son loves hockey like I love fishing. He gets no pressure from me but I love watching him play. Very fun watching in his element, I only support it because it’s his passion and not mine. I only want him to play for as long as he wants to play. I’m always worried about him getting injured though... I’d feel guilty if he does. Very torn about it all.
