At 5.7 million feet in altitude, he is almost 1100 miles up. Outer space is only 62 miles up. He is straight up in LEO (low earth orbit)

You see comrade, there's zero air that high up, so zero airspeed either
Space starts at 264,000 feet, the E-3 is on a crash course to the moon lmao
Fun fact, I measured out about a second's worth of altitude change during the "low" part of the soon to be orbit, which turned out to be a vertical 200.000fps (or around 60.000m/s), taking JUST this with no regard for the actual speed (since vertical speed isnt the only factor here) that is already 60km/s or around 5x earth's escape velocity and just over 4x the speed you would need to escape the solar system altogether and around 2.8x faster than voyager 1 when it left our solar system.
Keep in mind this is *just* the vertical speed displayed here with the plane having a horizontal speed probably many multiples of that since if its going up that fast its gotta be moving to the side pretty fast too.

I've actually tried the F/A-18 to boom AAR before. Definitely the hardest refuel attempt I've ever made. Can get connected but impossible to stay that way.
Most of those peeps in this vid playing DCS need to get a new module to learn if they are that bored to be fucking around like this.

I mean I was successfully plugged in, you can see the fuel going up, I fully refueled. The hornet’s one of the easiest planes to fly form in thanks to the FCS. We just happen to really enjoy formation flying and messing around, DCS doesn’t always have to be about learning weapons and shooting baddies, sometimes you just want to kick back and screw around in a beautiful game with some friends.

FMs for all the AI aircraft are just unencrypted plain text lua files in the game files, all the code comments are in Russian though so it can be hard to figure out what all the variables mean

How to hell did you change the code on the e-3?
It’s right there in plain text in the game files, you just have to mess around and use google translate on the comments to figure out what it all does
@@Nightwolf323 I've tried everything. Found the lua files and changed parameters using c++, and clicked save and close. Opened game, tried it out, and nothing is different. I've got to be missing something.
