Currently watching Ronald Moore's Battlestar on Blu-ray for the first time since it was originally shown and it is still superb all these years on and superbly executed. B5 on Blu-ray is next on my classic sci-fi binge list.

Silver Bullet, awesome werewolf movie, crap werewolf design. Would love to see a remake, but only if practical effects are used and the grit on the movie is maintained. I preordered Seven on Zavvi a few weeks ago, but I noticed it’s no longer on the site. So went ahead and order though your link just in case the Zavvi order doesn’t go through. Hopefully that amazon price adjusts. Seven is one of my all time favorite movies.

I'm a huge B5 fan. Use to go to the gatherings at the university with people from work to watch a group of episodes.
The set was a present for Christmas.
I also have the script collection that was published by JMS.
Looking forward to watching the series. It is one of my all time favorite shows.

Great review . I saw Titanic and Man In The Iron Mask on the ssme day in the cinema .
As for Bab 5, I had all the laserdiscs - although a complete set was never realised in the dying days of laserdisc format . I did think the laserdiscs were still superior to both the VHS and DVDs and such laserdisc were full frame format . The full frame negatives were the only HD film source and is why a 1:85:1 set is not being issued and why full frame is the best choice for the laserdiscs and blu ray . Of course the blu ray set will look amazing and is the ultimate way to view B5
It looks like the best was to see babylon 5. I didn't like it much in the 90s, too ugly imo, but then again I was comparing it to more clean sci fi like tng. Based on all the postive voices, I think its a great time to revisit and see what I missed!

😘Glad you enjoy all my videos‼️ As far as Shaun the Sheep Blu Ray set goes I tested all the discs for you & it’s completely Region A Locked!! So you would need a Region Free - Multi Region Blu Ray player to play them in the UK Region B!

@@InSearchofPhysicalMedia Yes I bought Babylon 5 on blu ray last month. I know the story so I know this will never look better. However, packaging could have been better, some ad bumpers have been left in, and then there is The Gathering. Oh dear, it's standard def and has been blown up to 16:9 and looks a lot worse than my original 4:3 DVD. I thought this set was released on blu ray to give us the best possible experience. I know there isn't an HD version of the pilot but why ruin it further. Cheers. Gary.

I’ll definitely be getting Babylon 5, especially since the DVD’s have the worst reputation of easily rotting disc😢, just wish they’d ported the bonus material over, also is the spinoff series The Crusade be released on Blu like the movies (witch I hope includes The Legend Of the Ranger)
I own the Babylon 5 DVD probably one of the worst TV shows on DVD for image quality. Also own the Blu-ray it's a big upgrade but I guess I'm still a little disappointed. So I'd say if you're a big fan and you like a upgrade from your terrible DVD definitely buy this new Blu-ray.

Warriors was a popular film when I was in high school, but some theaters pulled the film due to gang violence at some theaters. I always considered it a fantasy/adventure being based on The March of the 10,000.
Great video! Did you notice stutter with the Dolby vision in man in the iron mask vs the HDR version? DV had stuttering in places for me .

To answer, NO & if I would have had any actual playback issues I always share that in all my reviews!
It’s simply most likely your disc has that film I’ve talked about for years that needs cleaned as I explained in my BIG disc cleaning video, most of the time that you encounter any pixelation or stuttering it’s because your disc needs cleaned even if you think it looks clean the film that is on discs from manufacturing causes playback issues!👌😉
If you haven’t watched my disc cleaning video you need to watch it now so you do it correctly!

Regarding Babylon 5; where did all the DVD extras go?
Did they scan the original film for babylon 5. Also one of the sfx artists said he has all the sfx files for the ships etc which can be upscaled.
Why would they not do it properly.

YES, because as I explained in this video the 4K💿 discs are all the same‼️
Are we meant to assume, where you mention the 4k disk is region free, but don't mention anything about the blu ray disk, that the blu ray disk is region locked?
Totally agree with that aspect ratio of the creator also a merky image in some areas and the grain did make it look awful but the movie is good in my opinion

We need an IMAX UHD full screen release of The Creator.
Definitely not going to happen: The film was shot anamorphically, so 2.76:1 is its only correct shape. I thought it was a very good film, but the aspect ratio was probably wider than pretty much any cinema screens are best set up to handle!

OK from what I have read the original sources may not be good enough and it's extremely unlike, then again that's what they said with the TV series. I'll come back next year and you can tell me that you told me so.
@@AlexShirley As I explained in this video WB is very slow to release these things just like this Babylon 5 TV series Blu Ray set took them 3 years to release since it was finished in HD, so as I shared the movies won’t likely be released for a year or two at least due to how they usually release Blu Rays!
Digital film grain: It's like you are getting the worst of both worlds. You get the artificial look of digital and the grain of physical. I understand that digital is more affordable and practical but it's not cinematic. That's why they have to add crap like this.
Hi so I have the old Universal blu-ray of The Frighteners 15th Anniversary Edition. I wanted to watch it the other night and I have the Panasonic UB820 4K player you have. It was stuck on the loading screen with the Universal logo and the light going around it for a long time. Have you had any problems playing this on your Panasonic?
Disconnect the wifi, that's the problem. For some reason some Universal discs have that issue while the player is connected to the wifi, it just won't load past the Universal logo.
Letterboxing with the appropriate masking on a digital projector screen in a home cinema will take out those black bars on The Creator.
When are we getting more Disney plus 4K content. I want Obi-wan kenobi series on 4K
I wish you would have compared THE WARRIORS 4k against the IMPRINT bluray.
