Is there a way to link different fx across tracks? For example, one track has a compressor and I want the threshold parameter to map to the gain parameter on another track's EQ.
Found a bug with this script that the second "following" track FX envelopes doesn't clear latch when running the action "Automation: Clear all track envelope latches". Any idea where to report this?
is there a history of REAPER adopting features first introduced in 3rd-party scripts? Wondering how optimistic I should be that this gets implemented "for real".
A few things become obsolete or less useful as reaper updates. One thing that comes to mind is SWS actions to add FX or chains, which reaper added many years later. Or the sws LFO generator, is mostly replaced by native LFO in automation items or CC lanes. Most other times the problem is solved by a script well enough that they don't need to spend the time implementing it. They're more likely and quick to expand API for Reascript than to build the thing completely.
trying to get this to work, but when I go to my actions list and type "js" nothing comes up. Can't find the fx_grouping script no matter what i type in the filter bar. I'm running this on windows, but my version is up to date. any tips?
Useful but not very user friendly, but thats part of using Reaper. Thanks. Also, you have a whistle/resonance in your voice over mostly on sibilants maybe around 3k-45 that could be filtered out with a dynamic peak cut to make the voice over sound smoother.
Hoping Reaper team will add this function in a future update! 🤞
Woaaah! I've been wanting this for my rhythm guitars for a long time
Finally! Had been waiting for an easy way to this for a long time. Thanks to the creators of the script and also to you for showing it!
Thank you! I've been looking for this feature all the time since Pro Tools!)

I'd love to have a native function where I can just drag and drop a Knob in a GUI to the same one in another instance and link them.
Touch Parameter and fx Parameter should work, I'm gonna give it a try
Yeah I was kinda hoping it'd be something like that ;)
Works well. I can get it going on a compressor but not on amp sim
in cubase you just press quick link and whatever tracks you have selected the parameters on any plugins channel fx are linked (relatively)
that sounds ideal

missing installing the script via ReaPack
For me, the script didn't work off the bat. Seems to be an error in line 256. Instead of "==" it should be "~="
is there any better way to do this ?
it only Seems you can link 2 tracks together... and it's not all parameters in a plug-in it links with.. pretty useless

I duplicate my fx tracks and then control x cut out the audio and slide my other tracks in.
But what if you want to adjust fx setting simultaneously?
Does it work for amp sims?
it should, if parameters are available to reaper.
@@TheREAPERBlog I tried and tried, unfortunately it doesn’t work 😞
@@BrainDeadTX which?
@@TheREAPERBlog I tried the Amped Roots, Dual Amped, Amped Fluff 2C, Oracle and Amped Block Letter. All from ML Sound Lab
Typing in 50% for one control moves the other one to 67.7%. Thats not very useful, unfortunately.
