We wanted to break down exactly why it is so amazing from the writing, cinematography, editing, and directing. This is a dense show that should not be overlooked. The first episode focuses on the oldest of the Crain children, Hill House and flashes from present to past to uncover the horror they experienced.

We will. Sadly these aren't as popular so we try and mix them in but episode 3's breakdown is on the list of upcoming videos.
@@ChannelingSpirits yeah I have to admit I skipped these videos until after I got into the series and became totally obsessed with it to the point of reading the backstory posts by the shows writer on Reddit. It's a shame they aren't popular, I can't wait until more come out :)
It bugged me a bit how they came to the designs of Steven and Shirley. They really didn't match well with any characters from the book. Best I can figure, if anything their appearances may have been taken from the way Nell's sister and brother-in-law were portrayed in the first act of the 1963 film version. Its the only thing that comes close.

This was a pretty good miniseries until the end. Very disappointing.
