    • @WorldwideSpeak
      @WorldwideSpeak  3 года назад +2

      Thank you for the kind words. You would describe a country or city in a similar way. Think of 3-5 aspects of this place, then give specific details for each one of those. For example, if you were talking about Chicago - one aspect could be the river that runs through it. Then you would follow that with a super specific example - to show with words - what that river "looks" like. Hope this helps!

      Thank you for the feedback. I have heard that this video has poor audio, unfortunately. The good news is that my more recent videos have excellent sound. I am learning from all of you. Thank you SO much for visiting our channel!

    Thank you for the information❤ I have a question for you. My teacher said: descriptive paragraphs don't use "my, mine, I" pronouns. Is she correct?

    • @WorldwideSpeak
      @WorldwideSpeak  2 года назад +2

      Yes - and no. Typically, when we write in an academic setting we avoid using personal pronouns - like you mentioned - except for Narrative Paragraphs/Essays. Yet, sometimes we use personal pronouns when we are teaching entry level writing. It can make the transition to more advanced writing a bit easier. It really depends upon the teacher, though. For you, I would say, do whatever your teacher requires. That is best. Hope this helps!

      @WorldwideSpeak  2 года назад

      The volume of this video is quite a popular topic of discussion :). As I have stated previously, this was probably one of the first videos I ever made. I was a total novice, thus my inexperience caused the volume to be so low. Unfortunately, I cannot go back and change that. Hopefully, though, you were able to learn a bit from it and that the closed captions helped. Thank you so much for learning with us!

      You are not being rude at all. I know the volume is bad in this video as many have mentioned that before! The newer videos have much better sound, thankfully. We are happy the video was helpful. Thank you for visiting our channel. 😃
