At least the Italian government try and make it possible to help people starting off in the housing market.
They'll see ruins transformed into liveable houses once again and this in turn will help the local economies by introducing families back into their community.

none of this .... costly provision, reserved for a few and with many jobs done badly and costing a lot ... the 110% was therefore canceled and will never exist again. The boys were good because they were two architects and therefore in the sector but for most of the people, not in the sector, problematic situations arose. Furthermore, once 110% was over, the credit freeze meant for many half-finished jobs, incomplete jobs and therefore uninhabitable houses ... A DISASTER

€18,000 for custom windows and doors is a very good price. I work in construction and you wouldn't get anything that nice for under $20k USD. My hope is that you start getting some big sponsors to help with the current build or even future builds very soon. As always, keep up the excellent work and I can't wait for the next video!

It is looking beautiful, so impressive. Still think Vince is the hardest working man on the planet. The work you both have done is really good. You not only work first from a budget you also build within your means. There is so much more to this house than in the beginning. The windows made it not only air tight but beautiful. I love it.

He did a longer video about it that has a link in this video where he is giving a brief explanation.
But as I understand it, the government will give you 110$ for every 100$ you pay in taxes if you do a renovation like theirs. But they have low taxes and this wasn’t a big help to them. Banks have high taxes and need this tax break. So they sell the tax cut to the bank for cash. Then they have the money they need to renovate, and the bank has the tax cut they need. But you might want to check out the longer explanation in his other video.❤️🐝🤗

The sweet black dog needs a comfortable bed to rest especially since shepherds are known to get callus on the elbows and legs from hard ground. It would be nice to set up a covered awning outside with bed and water so dog will be away from dusty construction and feel safe and reassured as he patiently waits for house to be completed. Thanks for sharing your journey and hopefully soon we will see the finished project. One thing I noticed is the realtor commission was very high and could have been negotiated lower since I know people who have spent much more on a house and only gave fee of 2-3k, not 4k.

I just came across your channel. Amazing project. I am doing a similar project in Tuscany. I bought an old stone house about 4 years ago and spent 75K for the building. The structural work was done by builders. For the roof, chains antisismiche, doors, reinforcing the floor, windows, plastering, water, electrics, gas I paid around 125K leaving me somewhat broke. So am doing the rest of the work myself. The house has 2 floors. The living area on the first floor and the ground floor divided into 2 cantine. I have just finished pointing the stonework on the internal walls on the ground floor. It took bloody ages, using a saccapoche, and countless sacks of murostuk. I am now almost ready to lay the floor in the cantine. Then will build a kitchen and the house will be almost ready!!

Your decision to spend money on those professional skills is also very wise…. Potential renovators need to understand the limits of their abilities. Great explanation, and what a blessing to have the tax credits! I did wonder about the installation of the electrical's, but you addressed that; Also, where did you learn the skills to do the renovations you carried out yourselves? ...and a last, and most important question 'Did the very large gentleman who worked on the roofing lose weight while working on the job?'

Thank you 😊 we learnt most skills from doing research, watching a lot of RUclips video and giving it a try ourselves! We also asked workers and companies we worked with for advice. Being both architect we had some theorical knowledge too!

You’re being very sensible and measured with it - and it’s looking so lovely! For comparison the median house price in Brisbane Australia is €455,000, however in Sydney it’s €785,000. So you have done very well so far in your plans 👍

    • @mysterioanonymous3206
      @mysterioanonymous3206 Год назад +1

yeah but that's italy - the median household income is (PPP) $35,189. that puts it into perspective somewhat.
i live in switzerland, getting a house for 785k is absolutely unheard of. you barely get a small apartment for that here, much less an actual house.

What a magnificent job you have done there... I'm waiting to see the future works and the eventual finished product. I had no idea of the cost of these natural construction products and thus could not get to an estimate. Well done with those bank credits!!!

    Bravo

Grazie ragazzi!! That was extremely informative!! I wasn't aware of this tax credit and seems quite a good deal.....well WAS a good deal, since apparently (at least in my area) they ran out of funds so program is suspended, if not closed at all....well house is perefctly livable so I suppose I can wait to make some upgrades, like the windows as I mentioned in your previous video....Vraiment beau travail. Toutes nos félicitations! A la prochaine!

With all the work you have done yourself, it feels like a large cost for parts of the build, and then we have those specialist's ( we call them the Divas of the building sites - the electricians and the plummers), The way of getting the subsidies through the bank was new to me.... But in a total you are getting a very nice house with an astonishing view for a decent cost, with many nice memories (doing the building yourself gives you VERY nice memories, I know that) and reusing housing that would have been unused otherwise is large...

Both of you have handled this project wisely, and of course with much shoulder grease. Nevertheless I believe it is worth all that. You are slowly getting there in turning this in to a beautiful home. Love the way you chose the natural and eco friendly materials, with much attention to details. Well done guys!!! not to forget, your doggo had much patience and was there with you through out the project - he is adorable...

Deep respect for your intelligence, passion and hard work. You make me want to be thirty years old again so I can embark on an adventure like this! I have to wonder though what language the two of you speak at home since you doubtless came to the relationship with different native tongues. Perhaps its a little of both. You are a lovely couple. Thanks for these videos.

That was an excellent clarification on costs to do this kind of build. We see the evidence of your hard work to get there, but now see what one gets into by way of costs that were unavoidable even with the abilities and work level you have committed. This is a fantastic project, I love watching the work which is aesthetically pleasing to me. The views are incredible and though you probably explained long ago, would love to know the amount of land that came with this amazing home costing you 90,000 euros!!!
