At this point you're making the best commercials these knife companies have ever had and doing it for free! Lol.

Great review and well produced video! Found a cayenne seahorse nearby (rare these days) and picking it up soon.

Hey Jimmy, I gotta tell ya bro, the beginning right up to the Coke cooler would be perfect opening for the man at his cabin enjoying life. The rest, just a commercial. No hate intended. LOL.

HiJohn, I hope all is well. It's not about me or the cabin, it's about the knife 👍 I just saw your latest video and congrats on that awesome pup, looks like a beauty

Wow... great review. Actually picked up my very first Case knife about a month ago. Also the Seahorse Whittler. But with the black smooth micrta covers. Was pretty impressed. My only other traditional knife is the Boker Club with 01 tool steel. But the Case Seahorse is pretty cool. Definitely an impressively thick wharncliffe blade for a slip joint pocket knife.

Hi and thanks for the comment. Congrats on the new knife. Yeah that blade is pretty serious for sure. 👍🍻

I enjoy your videos, they're great! I guess I have to be "that guy" who comments that you're carving towards yourself, I'm not a wood carving person, I may be someday, but, just imagine a nice carving piece that you were carving, slight knot in the carving piece, and you slice off the top of your thumb. I don't know anything about wood carving, but a razor sharp blade should be with motions away from your fingers.

Hi Sam and thanks for the comment. It's pretty standard practice amongst the whittler's out there. If you slip it usually goes right over the top of your thumb, that is if you're doing it right LOL

The same carving could be done by making your opposing hand a cantilever, carving away from yourself. Again, I'm not a whittle master, but, I work with sharp hand tools every day. The rest of my work days, are spent working with a lathe, or other random hand tools, a bunsen burner. Can you guess my profession?

Not a fan of the lizard skin but the thickness is perfect

I would like it a lot more if it was actually lizard skin 😁
