      @@dillpickle4558 HATE people like that. I've had people in little John boats come right between me and the shore I was casting to, and act like I'm not even there. I have a few choice words for those two in that boat, and none of them are pleasant. You are a far better man than I.

      The second pair of Anglers had the right attitude, even politely asked if they can fish the mats. Greg gave them the go ahead just like he said he would if someone asked.

    Nah that was not cool. That guy knew 100% what he was doing. I would never open her up all the way on my bass boat and fly by a kayaker like that. He deliberately put you in danger man. They should be banned from ever competing in any circuit again. Glad you're ok man.

      On weekends, it's a free for all in the CA Delta. I've had boats cut right in front of me and the berm, when there's 50+ feet of open water behind me.

    I'm a "Former" tournament Bass Fisherman. I haven't fished a tournament in 5 years or so. Some of these new generation of tournament guys are out for BLOOD. I saw so much cheating , which in my day was frowned on completely. People getting on plane during a night tournament when the speed limit is 5 mph all night. I fish for fun now. I love your videos Greg, wish there were more Anglers like you out there!!.....

    Well said Greg, unsafe boating is never ok! Operating a boat at that speed, when you’re in a kayak, is inexcusable. We anglers are all friends, we share the same passion for goodness sake! Take care/look out for/help each other so we can all go home safe to our families and live to fish another day.

    Way to combat the conditions, including the two BASSHOLES in the boat. The guys in the second boat at least ask if they could fish near you, the way it should be. Keep the videos coming and hats off to you for keeping your cool.

    Ive honestly been having an issue this season dealing with my anxiety/anger with others on the water. I just want peace and not to be so worried.     Hi Greg, as a bass boat owner, I was pissed to see the rudeness of those anglers in the boat. We know we're responsible for our wake and usually ask other anglers if we can go around them. We're especially careful around smaller vessels such as canoes and kayaks. Definitely not cool on their part 😠 At any event, you're the classier fisherman - carry on 🎣

    I cannot believe that glitter boat in the beginning. I watched that whole thing and when they cut in front of you I was in shock and when they blew by you I was even more in shock.     Greg, we all look up to you, I know I do. You're a genuine guy. That and so many other vids, is why your a favorite of mine. That was playing with a life on the water. I purchased my 1st kayak. I wanted the 12ft but went with a 10.5, because I have a studio apartment, and it's me, my boat and my dog. Lol.. You got thrown around, but no one can stop the awsome sportsmanship you have.     This is why as a newer yak angler, I've yet to go out on any water where there's boats. I guess I'm scared but I'd really like to go fish some of the best fisheries around me. Literally 5 minutes away from the columbia river aka smallmouth paradise and I've not fished it once.

    Its my experience that the anglers that have the worst etiquette are the most bothered by small things even if they are in the wrong. I generally like to do what you did, just try to be respectful and let them do their thing as annoying as it is. You're a class act, lotta people could learn from your handling of that situation

    I'm glad you stopped to point out the lack of etiquette those guys showed. I was watching with my 15 year old son who just started fishing tournaments with me. I pointed it out as soon as they jumped you. Thanks for explaining in more detail and stating that if they would have simply asked, you would have moved on....and then that exact thing happened a bit later in the day. As I'm sure you know, a teenager is more likely to listen to anybody over his father lol.

    You kept calm way better than I would have. Ive had a boat almost run me over then continue to fish the spot I was at. He got an ear full specially because there was no one within like a quarter mile each way. Good job staying calm.

    I fish on a boat on the delta all the time. I have to say I would of not of done that. I would of fish the other side or gone down and been out of sight. This is why I like watching your show, you have fishing etiquette. Fishing on a boat or kayak, fishing is fishing we are all out there to enjoy the day. I don't drink coffee or bake lol but this is my number one fishing show I love watching. Keep it up.

    I get an inhospitable vibe in the Delta almost every time I go. Even had a Truck with blacked out windows started randomly following us one day. Watch yourself out there Greg and keep that camera rolling. Good Luck.

    Greg I don't know what the laws are in Cali....but the move that Basscat boat did was against the law in my state. It would be cauterized as wickless endangerment , given a ticket an then disqualified from the tournament they were fishing. But you have the video an there boat numbers.

    Much respect to you man. You handle it great. I used to fish from a kayak and still do sometimes. I know how it feels to be treated like that by dudes in big boats. Ive been through those bad experiences too. Now i fish in a boat but i always give my respect and boater etiquette to kayakers, boaters and bank fisherman because I know how it feels to be in their shoes.

    When I guided we always had our favorite spots, but if someone was there I would just go to spot B, or C or whatever and when they left, come back to that spot. I am glad you didn't let it ruin your day. Nice fishing!

    Nice job Greg, catching a limit is huge. I caught a 19.50 early in the morning and came up 1 fish shy of my limit. Wish I had more of a day like you haha!
