I have an abu veritas spinning rod its a great rod. Rod butt is a little long which messes with my accuracy but it helps with some leverage on hook sets. Maybe he just picked up those rods for New York, but a sponsorship would be cool too!
I asked about this in his fishing cave video but didn't see a response. It's pretty clear he switched to Abu sometime last year and also started in talking about Berkeley more last year too.

This style of tournament seems a lot more agreeable than 100 boats launching all at once from the same ramp.
The fact that you weren't ranked 1st softened the DQ user error, but sometimes it's just more about the fish ya' know, looks like a great day.
One of the best ways to get the day started… coffee, Greg’s video and a quiet house….getting me pumped to hit the water on the kayak for some before work fishing!!

Great video! Greg, you have to get a Garmin Livescope. Not only can you hunt specific fish with it but the most valuable thing I think it does is to allow my to watch fishes reactions as they follow the lure and how many just follow and don’t hit it. Then, make a quick switch in retrieve or lure and you can sometimes get them bite. Again great video and looking forward to more of them.

Greg, When you are having a really bad day, try a Gary Yamamoto Senko 5" 297 Green pumpkin worm with a EWG 4/0 Gamakatsu hook, it's my go to this summer. The fishing is bad everywhere in the USA this summer, extreme heat, even here in Michigan we are having Alge blooms on Lake Erie, love your videos, even when you have a bad day! Doug

Those big fish with small heads are a sign of a great fishery. Means the fish are growing fast.
Its the opposite. Smaller head and thick bodies mean the fish are healthier slower growing

Dude almost shed a tear for you when you showed the results not a high pay out missed but still hurts when you know you had the fish to make the payout. I missed weigh in once due to us fishing on the Alabama Georgia line phone switched over to bama time missed weigh in by a hour and thing that made me mad was I had not caught a fish since lunch time. And I had 5lbs more then the winning bag.

Great boost in the morning watching your footage, I need to start throwing bigger baits! I just spent a week in North Carolina and the biggest thing I caught was a 3lb channel catfish on a drop shot. My largest bass was a pound. I caught bluegill and a crappie also with the drop shot. So time and location is also a part of the puzzle but it was fun still. Back to trout and salmon fishing in Juneau AK. Thanks for the great footage sorry about the app mishap!
