Great show, thank you so much! May I suggest bringing in a specialist in such cases. Maybe like a doctor or lactation nurse to educate the rest of the population of latching issues which are pretty common to avoid such cases from occurring again. Imagine the stress the young lady went through after giving birth. She could have had post-partum depression. It wasn't necessary! 2 minutes chete at the end of the show hayo plz.

Mr Mugabe thank u for giving the young mum the platform to open up more at first she was nervous, less confident. Thank u for interacting with her that way it helps those who are scared or less confident to speak up. Proud of the young mum she is honest. It's high time people are educated that overstimulation can cause fussiness or difficulty nursing. Thise midwifery must openly address some of these issues especially to these man /husband. The mum she is still young maybe she had a stressful labour/very painful which may have resulted her to be tired or distracted from having much skin to skin with the baby.

Mr Mugabe I think it’s high time you tried to involve experts in pregnancy and newborns ie Gynecologist, or even midwifes who may come from time to time to explain some of these issues that have always been interpreted wrongly from the cultures point of view…
I mean not to say the woman never cheated ( we don’t know that) but the idea that people still believe a baby who does not suckle is not yours is amazing to imagine in this day in age…. Our population needs to be educated about basic things that were always explained wrongly. Have watched a lot of episodes where people are fighting about the duration of the pregnancy etc ( hanti Akaita 10 months) 🤦🏿♀️ our population needs that help.. it might not help everyone but surely a good number of people will be saved from these unnecessary headaches

I wish we can have a medical professional on the show, and also a traditional profession. Because pane tunhu twakawanda that I have picked that are people's beliefs which have dubious base. Mine never latched on his mother's breast. He was breastfed from the bottle. The mother pumped milk throughout the breastfeeding journey. Kusaziva kufa chokwadi.

Very true especially the first born when the n##ples are still flat. Also some babies have a condition inovatadzisa to suckle on mommy's breast!
I did not fully breast fed my first baby and the midwives told me he was too lazy and could sleep most of the time. This was noticed since he was in nursery. I stopped breast feeding him at 3 months and he enjoyed the bottle more. But the next 2 babies I breast-fed for 18 months each.
