If only the government criminalise and make it law that every child shall be registered naming both mother and father togadzira nyika yedu zvekupedzisira.... Especially now in DNA era no excuses. Men who face the maintenance court *will find* money for DNA paternity tests if in any doubt. Same should apply if you have doubts ask for DNA before birth certificate. Mwana wese should have a full birth certificate within 6 weeks of birth. And then at ECD and Grade 1 birth certificate should be compulsory no stories.
There are countries like France where it is written in law that as a parent you wil provide for your child until they are 18. If you don’t, they can take you to court and sue you. Equally, children are responsible for their parents and they can sue their children if they are neglected.
