Thank you! Not a whole lot of people appreciate these kind of transformations. I'm working on another airhead at the moment, a R100RS. Will put out a lot of new videos in the upcoming weeks 👍🏼
I'd love to see the original bike restored in the same quality, same paint etc.. those large fairings would look cool.

This is one of the most beautiful bikes I've ever seen.
I ordered an Audi S4 in velvet purple, and I have an ol 1979 Suzuki GS550. I think I'm going to change my plans for the bike rebuild and go for a matching velvet purple tank and seat cowel. Thank you so much for this delightful beauty. You've given me some major inspiration!
Thank you so much for the comment, words like these are great to receive! At first I wasn't that sure about the color combination in general (gold/black/purple), but it payed off perfect. I just finished another R build, R100 on which I did the same colors but then switched the purple for a deep blue metallic. There are some videos about that build on my channel as well.

Saw this bike in insta....fell in love instantly.....great build.....nice color....if one day I'm able to build the bike of my dreams it would have this color on it....this inspired me a lot

This video needs a little more time on it because this came out as one of the best cafe racers I’ve seen. Some of the other builds were too long, some going past 30 minutes. Did those guys forget what a time lapse is? This one is less than 10 minutes and it’s beautiful! 👍🏽👌🏽💯
Thanks for the kind words. I've tried to keep the pace high, so it stays interesting. I'm currently working on another R on which I'll put out more videos on specific phases of the build, but then also keep it under 10 minutes
Whilst the bobber is beautiful and you did an amazing job it's a shame to see these lovely old bikes being taken off the road.
My dad had one when I was growing up. I'd love to get him another one in mint condition one day.

An absolute work of art. May i ask, there does appear to be a fair amount of space on the rear wheel in the swing arm. I know that it is a shaft drive which does cause restrictions but is there scope to fit wider wheels? The front i know could happen with custom triple trees etc but can it be done to the rear. ? Thanks
With these tires you can't go wider, otherwise you'll hot the swingarm. The tire doesn't look skinny and handles great 👍🏼

Amazing work ! Looks Gorgeous . Please tell me, where did you put the battery and fuse/wire junction box ?
Battery box came from sport evolution (Germany) and sits under the bike, mounted to the gearbox. I've used a M-unit so that the brain for the wiring/fuses

2 Questions on the other K100RT builds you did (mine is about 90% done):
1. What did you do with the original onboard computer-unit & telemetry?
2. Any experience with the starter on these being worn? (coils)
Thanks! For the K100 Nardo build I've used a M-unit to delete most of the original wiring, more information is on my Instagram page.
Didn't had any problems with the original startmotor in combination with the M-unit

@@valentinroger3020 yes spray paint, but did needed a oven cure. I'm going to use Cerakote for my new builds and doing some how-to's on that as well on my page. Subscribe if your interested 👍🏼
I would put a longer bank instead of the small seat it would look better

This bike is just 😍. I’m currently attempting the same progress and would love some advice. Did you powder coat the engine or just use high temperature resistant paint ? Also which I had the knowledge to customise my forks as you have. Amazing work

Looks like the rear suspension is mounted at the seat brackets? Was a new one made if not have u had any issues I’m thinking of doing the same.
The original suspension brackets have been replaced by thicker brackets and just a little lower than original. The seat bracket is just an extension from the backbone from the frame

How and what paint did you use on the engine. I have had issues in the past with engine grade paints
For this bike I used a single stage paint, but for all my newer builds I've chosen to use 2K high resistance paint and also Cerakote. Cerakote H and C series
This is a one-of-a-kind build me I know how long did it take for you to rebuild it

My dad just passed away and left me 6 BMW bikes, a Motorcycle Guzzi and a Kawasaki all 80’s and 90’s and all in real nice shape. I have the time to refurb. Maybe 2 in my lifetime, but not 8 bikes. I’d love to find out where to purchase aftermarket parts like for this bike. Any ideas?

Got the silencers that you've mentioned from caferacerwebshop.com. I've cut the original headers

I like the look and to be honest it doesn't drive bad either. At high speed they tend to wobble, but this isn't a bike for high speed
