Rest isn't work. Rest is needed for work to happen. Rest is a necessary part of the process. Used to feel guilty about resting until I gave up the lie that my worth/value is directly tied to how much I produce. My mental health improved significantly. Also, we don't need to do as much as others. I had to come to terms with my disabilities and the fact that how much I can do is going to be, at times, significantly less than others. Even if someone isn't disabled, how much we can do is going to be different. That doesn't make anyone less worthy or valued. Capitalism made rest a 'sin' and we are suffering because of the lie. I know some can't rest because working 3-4 jobs plus doing all the other daily tasks is necessary to survive. Rest seems like a luxury for the rich. And... yeah. I agree. Guilt-free rest is a part of the goal. As we fight for living wages for all jobs and universal basic income for all people, I hope guilt can be squashed and rest can be enjoyed. Take care, everyone!

Totally agree, good thoughts
