in 2017, i was diagnosed with Foot Drop, a condition I've never heard of. I lost 40lbs of muscle due to this condition as a result of being unable to use a gym or do home workouts. However, i was still able to do some of the movements in this playlist. I struggled through and it gave me enough mobility and mental strength to pursue other forms of therapy which lead to my recovery. Now that I comfortably walk again, I am returning to this and will implement these videos in a daily routine. Thank you

Firebending was actually Northern Shaolin. Earthbending was Hung Gar. And metalbending was Chu Gar (a branch of Southern Preying Mantis). Qigong isn't actually a gung fu style, though it's incorporated into a number of Chinese martial arts.
@@briankaplan6248 indeed, actual qi gong is nothing more than a breathing technique... every martial art has their own, including boxing... of course unfortunately when people think of qi gong, they think of the many bullshit variety where it include many mystic bullshit like chi and spirit..

Samo hung is a better martial artist. Jet li movies sometimes looks quite fake because of his small physique. Samo hung might be fat but during his younger days his kung fu is very much better than Jet li.

Just yesterday I was given the final word from my Doc that I have Fibromyalgia. She suggested I add this to my usual workout which already includes yoga,small free weights and and elliptical. I believe I'm really gonna dig this!

Pwrinkle Johnson I know you posted this a year ago, but allow me to suggest that you try to find a qualified teacher of taijiquan in your area. Taijiquan is a very sophisticated martial art, which requires moving your body in a very specific way, and it must be rigorously corrected by your Sifu as you progress. Trying to correct yourself is folly. It's not really an art that can be learned online.

I appreciate your traditional approach to teaching
I learned boxing in high school but not martial arts cause it was too expensive
I can't learn in a dojo under a master because of finances
However maybe I can learn from you via Skype
I am not sure if you can do gradings online but maybe learning via Skype lessons it might be a budget alternative
However one thing that might be a problem is not having someone physically there to correct posture however a solution might be to have a training partner who can correct posture because we cannot see ourselves in the third but they can
I am looking forward to hearing from you Sufi and maybe we together can revolutionize how martial arts is taught I'll be your guinea pig!!!
