Jet Li - Learn Tai Chi Online with Taiji Zen: Level 1 Intro

In this video Jet Li gives an overview of the first Tai Chi training level (duan or 段) of the Taiji Zen Online Academy's learning system.
With the Taiji Zen Online Academy, you will learn the complete art of Tai Chi Chuan. Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced Tai Chi student, you will benefit from this program. The videos teach you the core principles of Tai Chi Chuan and the training manuals provide much information on background, theory and in-depth explanations of the movements. Each level (duan or 段) introduces incrementally more complex concepts, principles and partner practices.
In the first duan, we introduce the key principles of 'Suspend from the crown,' and 'Round chest, hollow back,' in order to guide your movements. We also go over the four cardinal Tai Chi movements: Péng (Expanding Energy), Lǚ (Deflecting Energy), Jǐ (Pressing Energy), and Àn (Pushing Energy).
