Thank you so much. I felt offended when you said that we use excuses and self pity to comfort our selves as I was crying over a test I failed. Also the other day I came across a video about how nothing lasts forever even our moments of glory and I skipped it because I refused to think that I'm going to be sad anytime soon . Early twenties are a roller coaster ❤

This was a great conversation. I always feel unburdened after you talk, it’s the way you unpack topics. There’s something to it, equally natural and systematic. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on and conversations with people like Jordan Peterson, Russel Brand and Christina P (of ‘that’s deep bro’ podcast fame)

Such a stunning conversation, it's hard to pick a favourite part :) Hope I get the chance someday to meet and chat with you about the creative life. Until then, I'll keep an eye out for your books.

*Self-pity is lack of self love.*
We wouldn't be here if it wasn't meant to be. Cut off all distractions and learn to love yourself.
    - Meditate to calm your mind
    - Spend time on your own without distractions, especially digital ones
    - Eat healthy and exercise
Give yourself time, rebuilding a healthy relationship towards the self take time

Mindprovement, I think Self-Pity takes you to places, WHEN you are taught that it’s Self-Pity that you are going through. Self-Pitiers do not know that they are, unless someone tells them!

I needed to hear that! Thank you so much, Humble and Jay! What a great chat that really got me thinking clearly on so many important subjects that are floating in my life right now.
Specifically, hearing that you (Humble) put your book out and it was a best seller in Canada, and it still had spelling mistakes, and that it's more important to put things out there and finish them, and take that chance, than it is to make it perfect. Jen Sincero, in her book, You're A Badass, said done is better than perfect. And this was kind of the final push I needed b/c I just put my first book out, and I'm selling it on Amazon for 6.99, a reasonable enough price and my mom thinks it's too low. Where as me, I thought I'd just throw this book up on my blog for free cuz it was more likely to be read by more people. But deep down, it was really because I hadn't had it professionally edited, so I figured it wasn't worth the money. Mean while I spent almost two years working on this concept and then the year of actual writing, not to mention to countless hours I put into the editing and formating process, right. So it was liek this back and forth moment of, it's worth the money, it ain't worth a dime.
So, shit I wrote so much lol THANK YOU! I really needed to hear that. -E

It’s the forgiveness, mindfulness, and consistency that will make your goals achievable. Realize when you’re doing the actions that are unpleasant, forgive yourself, and stop immediately. Consistency keeps this loop running.

The thing about self-pity is organically inscribed into your processing in order for you to understand imbalances an actions taken upon you and its reactions so stopping self-pity is a form of negation on your evolutionary understanding of self
