  • In this video I demonstrate how an accelerating fragrance oil can be utilized to help your design! I generally like to stay away from accelerating fragrances, because they can be really hard to control...but in the right circumstances, they can save you a lot of time and energy! Watch how I use the fragrance oil to my advantange to get the bottom layer to set up fast. This soap was a special request by a friend...scented in lilac and violet, it smells sooo good! And I used a gold mica line inside...because I can't resist! Let me know if this type of content is useful and if you would like to see other content like this. Thank you!

I really appreciate you. I love your confidence. I am trying I swear. I have a separate building from our house that we call the “wash house” because that is where our laundry is done. It’s a decent size, with a full counter, a double sink, and an overhead shelf. We only ever used it for laundry, so I turned it into my soap studio. I try to make videos but it’s hard not to be self conscious. I don’t know why! It’s a nice setup, not perfect but I just need to stop worrying about it. We all start somewhere and we’ll get there someday. Thank you for being genuine and encouraging. You make such beautiful soap! ♥️

Haha we make it work wherever we are! I hope to have a soap studio someday, but for now it stays on top of the washer and dryer 🤣

Gorgeous soap! You’re a very talented soaper and I enjoy seeing your creations. I’ve found that if tap the top of the tea strainer vs the side, I can get the edges easier and not as much mica on the silicone.

Ooh thanks for the suggestion! It has been a challenge to get mica lines full to the edges!

As the tool that you used seemed to work …. You might want to look at mad micas for a fairy duster 🙂 it work’s beautifully for the corners and the edges

Try a blusher brush (makeup brush) for doing your mica lines inside. You'll get better coverage and get closer to the edges.
    Beautiful!
