I am about halfway bthrough your session and enjoying it so nmuch, learning alot and getting so much inspiration for my newbie experiences on the Digitakt 2!
Any chance for a ambient/generative stream where you can only use DT2 and ST? All the sounds must originate from ST but you can sample them into DT2 and then process it further
@@EZBOT_ I have a utterly selfish reason for that request :D And besides, your previous DT/ST streams kind of nudged me towards Elektron devices: they are wonderful little boxes that can do so much more than just drums, if we just can start thinking them as synthesizers with advanced sequencer.
Just curious, do you think it would be a good idea to get 2 Digitakt 2's or something else? I already have 1 Digitakt 2 but I'm considering buying another one. (Nevermind, you answered my question in this video. I'm getting the Octatrack MK2)
I dont know if there is a way to record hotter signals in multitrack recorders but I like to record the whole mix in 2 or 3 sterwo channels as hot as possible. Do as little as possible with it afterwards.
Love this. So good seeing how you build up a track in real time. You're not using the Syntakt here (except as an FX box for the 303!). Are you still using the Syntakt a lot in your setup or is the DT2 plus P3 Standalone kind of squeezing the Syntakt out?

Everytime I wanna do some 'work' sampling into the digitakt2, I end up just jamming out for hours and not getting anything done. Always a good time!

Play plus lacks the audio in. Have to process all in a regular audio interface.

You can multitrack record in Play+ with asio4all. But I cant hear it until i play it back with another driver. Only succeded this with the Digitakt.

Turn up gain on each channel and never find the balance. Rqther just go by ear with the signal baraly not distorting.
"I am become Digitakt 2" The cult has started... Do you still use analog heat much or any distortion/mastering end of chain?
Heat is out if picture but everything is running into it on saturation and bass to mono
