Wish i knew 20 yrs ago, that i was dealing with a very dangerous man, i didn't even know these people existed for years i felt guilt , pain and than i lost my kids to the Covert Narcissist..Thank goodness he cant help who he is so he turned on his own kids, now i had the chance to recover them. Its been a very difficult journey but i learned about parent alienation and i did what i had to do to save my now grown babies. I dont thinknill ever recover from all the abuse, ive just learn to live with my internal scars🙏❤

I need to find an attorney who is educated about narcissists and has successful outcomes dealing with them. My current lawyer has only made ONE attempt to communicate with my NPD husband's attorney 6 weeks ago and he has not called her back. I don't think he respects her and might be a narc himself! I feel a sense of urgency to get another lawyer in the Puget Sound area if anyone knows a great one. 🙏🙏🙏

@@milliesecond102 A lawyer knows a manipulator but they don’t always under stand what a NARS is. I had no clue myself for a long time. Iam in a two year divorce with a NARS. You need to know your personal facts, financial facts to give to your lawyer, and guid and insist with your lawyer what you are dealing with. After spending 85K on lawyers for 2 years and 3 lawyers, am now representing myself. I have experienced all that is discussed in this video. My advise get educated with Dr. Ramani get strong and stay on course do not let the N get to your head. It take time to get away from them and get yourself back in order to fight back. Get people around you as sounding board people friends that understand a Narcissist to help you stay on track and strong. You have to develop a shield against their behavior, and stay on course get what you want. Fight and do the best you can if you go down you gave a good fight and you didn’t lay down for them. Call out everything important don’t hold back, be thoughtful and have evidence, always communicate with email no phone call calls, emails is good evidence of manipulative behavior.

This is why you've got to focus on their actions other than their words. They'll say things like I don't do drama, I'm not looking for a fight but their actions will show very clearly if they deal with dramatic people - they obviously like to be in the centre of an argument because they like to know all the goings on and who's said what and they'll insert themselves in your business trying to provoke you to get a reaction because they want to fight you.

Excellent advice. I dealt with a Narcissistic husband and went through a horrible divorce and actually implemented much of what you said by instinct and learning to set boundaries based on the advice and books from wonderful counsellors. Also the words from biblical scripture on how we should handle conflict and enemies. I was able to let go and move on with my kids and I. Healing has been immense. My sister, Dad and I are still dealing with another difficult situation with my mother who is not only severely narcissistic herself but suffers from what seems to be a severe case of histrionic disorder, alcohol abuse, paranoia, you name it. This was a very abusive situation for all of us and my Father finally left the abuse to stay in my care. This has is dealing with a lot of PTSD. last year this time we cut off all ties with her and that was heart breaking. All the things you speak about, flying monkeys, being gaslit, slandered, lied about, falsely accused, family saying we need to just get over it, or why after all these years is he leaving of it was really so bad … we dealt with it all. So trust me your advice is music to our souls and ears and hearts. The physical abuse as well as mental and emotional abuse was more than I can bear at times but I chose to love her all these years just to have to endure more and more. all I can do is pray for her and keep a distance because I DO love her in spite of everything

Parental Alienation is a huge issue with narcissists. They’ve been known to alienate the child/children from the other parent. Narcissist has been also known to brainwash the child against the other parent. So, you have the alienating parent (the narcissist), the targeted parent (the alienated parent) and the alienated child (usually brainwashed).

I wish this information was around 30 plus years ago when I divorced my narcissistic husband. When I stood up for myself, I was physically and verbally abused. When I went through post partum depression I was told I was "f'd" in the head. Having no family to support me, I struggled through this and continued to until about 5 yrs ago. A lifetime of pain and it continues with my children!!! I believe narcissism is a learned behavior and the ex and his new wife drove a wedge between me and my children. They taught them to treat their own mother and other women/people horribly if you disagree or don't give them supply. Thank you both for doing this video!!

@@RebeccaZungEsq The knowledge of the behavioural patterns. Once I started watching these videos I was able to accurately predict the narcissists next move. It went from me desperately trying to understand what was happening, to being able to figure out an action plan. When the hoover occurred, it was pathetic - predictable and easy to shoot down because I saw it for exactly what it was.

This video has been amazing. Both these ladies know their stuff! I've listened to them separately over the years, but having them together discuss both sides (attorney + psychologist) is nothing less than invaluable information. I recently used Rebecca's "Crush The Negotiation" in my divorce. I highly recommend anyone going through divorce, or any type of situation where negotiation is a factor, to read it. But don't just read it, APPLY it. It works. And, the confidence that you lack because of dealing with that narcissist for so long will become one of your greatest strengths. Thank you Rebecca and Dr Ramani ❤

If the narc is proven to be a blatant liar in court, does the judge generally lean away from the narc regarding division of property/alimony? My narc (attorney wife) divorce suit foundation is filled with blatant lies easily provable as such. She was blinded by being a narc it impaired her legal logic. Classic case of narc lying when they didn’t even have to. Divorce suit is weaponized towards me to make me look crazy, w reckless, stupid, liar, etc…a beautiful case study in narcissism.

Would love to see more discussions with my two favorite mentors on dealing with COVERT Narcs. I love how you share your different viewpoints. The covert narc I'm entangled with has flipped the tables said I physically abused her which would be abuse of a disabled person and her friend pulled a knife out and came at me because I was there. So she was acting like I was stalking her but she monitors me and goes where she knows I will be and taunts me. She has gotten away with this before. Ugh what a nightmare. U two are helping so many people and educating. Thank you.

You are a beautiful, powerful, and intelligent woman. You've helped me and continue to help me daily. I only wish you were here in NJ and representing me against my soon to be narc ex wife. Lawyers that I've spoke with brush off narcissism and act like they don't want to hear about it. I guess they hear it so much and it's quite common for exs to call each other narcissists. As my case went on, both my attorney and her attorney now see what I was talking about. Her attorney badmouthed her to my attorney. She's his problem now.

We got cards from my MIL for Christmas today, even when we had said not to send anything anymore a couple years ago. When I see them I am still boggled that she did not see anything wrong or have any guilt for disrespecting me all those years. We explained over and over until I got to the point where I felt like of I saw her or heard her voice I was gonna throw a chair through the window. Makes me sound like the abusive one, but I was at the end. I finally thought, I can get divorced, this must be why people get divorced! I felt trapped into dealing with both her and my narc mother. Anyway, they both were always slighted by anything innocuous while blatantly sabatoging other people and they felt entitled to it!
