I'm doing my homework to upgrage my 10+ year old pc setup. Your videos are helping me a great deal to plan my build. The aesthetics, smoke and attention to detail have been a learning experience. And this is comming from someone who has been building his own pc cases since 1995. Keep inspiring everyone Matt, you are an artist. Saludos de Monterrey, NL, MX. Gracias!! 😊
I hope you have a lot more videos for us in the future because these just keep getting better and they are excellent springboards for learning how to build a PC and on components. Thank you, thank you.
Great video Matt. I’ve wanted to build a PC for a while, seeing the black/orange Z20 and this video has made me order it. I’d spec’ed it out, but didn’t really know what I was doing, but this video pretty much perfectly matched what I’d chosen. So thanks for the validation!😂
Dude I'm so glad you did this build...I have this case in white sitting in the garage waiting to buy the rest of the other parts. Great work as usual Mr. Lee!!!!!
Very clean and sleek mATX build...and nice studio. I liked it so much I modeled my Jonsbo Z20 build after yours. I went ahead modified the PSU holder to give those cooler lines more room and allows me to move the PSU up more. Also provides more space around the PSU cables and GPU (if pushing the larger GPUs).
As always a perfect assembly. Congratulations @Mr Matt Lee! I liked Jonsbo's idea of doing the intake from the rear directly into the VRM. In fact, I have a Jonsbo D31 which is very good and beautiful with the front screen. I highly recommend the brand.
Very well produced video, I honestly love the case! When I get around to building a PC in the future, I'm almost certainly going to go with this one. It's just way too good looking!
I have this case in white and applied a dark window tint so you cant see inside until the rgb turns on. Have been waiting for you to do this case just to see how you orient the fans and see the smoke test, was so happy to see you configure it the same way as me, i feel validated now 😂. Love your builds
It was initially noisy and hot. But then I tested multiple configurations and fans orientations and now it runs cool and quiet. For my build i found having 2 bottom and 1 rear as intake fixed @ 950rpm, and 2 top as exhaust with variable speed based on temps to be optimal in both cooling and noise. Setting the bottom 2 fans over 1000rpm actually increased temps on my gpu, i think it might be due to air turbulance, as turbulent air is less efficient at cooling than smooth air is, apparently. And likely just how the intake fans blow onto my gpu fans in my specific build and might not be the same when i change to a different gpu. At idle all i hear is the psu fan and during gaming all i hear is air rushing past the grill out the top. I plan on putting a 5070 or 9070 in it and am not concerned at all with it overheating or being noisy. I previously had the same hardware in a bigger silent case (an fsp cst220 or something) and that case was significantly hotter and only marginally quieter. The z20 case has good airflow, if you put quiet fans in it and test different fan configurations and orientations, you should be able to build a quiet and cool setup.
NICE! You've taken the PC build video to a level worthy of the moniker "Art Form". I am inclined to make this my next build, and am keeping your vid readily available for the future project. Will deviate with an AMD Ryzen...wish me luck and my sincerest gratitudes for your effort.
love mi some small builds, jonsbo have amazing itx cases also it would shorten the build process for sure, but I just like to watch people build on it so I would love you doing it almost 200k man, hope you get there soon!
This is hands down the nicest case I have ever built with. Everything down to the gpu support bracket is exceptionally engineered and designed. Also the handle has got to be making other designers facepalm over how they overlook that every time
@@xMaGuSx888 you definitely can hear the system on heavy loads. but maybe with a decent PSU and noctua fans it can be more quiet. its not louder than any case with mesh pannels :)
Cracking wee build. I just bought that GPU two weeks ago I have been impressed. Bought it for 3 fan cooling at a certain size and it does the job nicely.
Hello from Canterbury - watching this from the UK this week :) I salute the skill involved in building an mATX rig in something so small. I just switched my gaming HTPC to a Lian Li Dan A3, and that is as small as I can go hehe.
Have you considered shooting the airflow visualizations in slow motion? Or intercutting slow and normal speed? Not too slow, but slow enough to really see the smoke doing its beautiful, natural thing.
I used to have that case. There's really no need for a build video. There's only one configuration you can use. Just make sure your aio and gpu will fit, and you're good.
So glad to see mATX getting some love, I still hate front power supply locations but this case put in some attention to make it slightly less bad. The PSU still looks crooked and id much prefer a floor or ceiling mounted psu.
Can't the PSU be mounted higher up? It looks like its taking up potential GPU space. I do like the look of this case but its essentially a more expensive looking version of what I already have.
Then the case will be taller. I think the future is SFX PSUs. I've been ITX for 10 years but looking to move to mATX due to price, more options and things like 4 RAM slots, but, an SFX PSU is a pretty cool thing when it comes to space and cases.
Nice build Matt, as always - any chance that beside the airflow visualization, you include the noise levels as well? Would be interesting to hear how loud are your builds 😋
Great job, it's looking awesome! I'd love to see you give the Streacom DA6 build a shot. It’s a bit different from your usual stuff, but the case has endless possibilities, and I’ve seen some amazing builds with it. Super curious to see how you'd approach it!
This is like the 50th small matx build vid ive watched in the past 2days for inspiration and ive got to say, this one is the most chill :) But ive noticed, no one uses rubber fan mounts anymore
Finally🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thank You! Yes it’s perfect! I’m using this case with Rog Ryujin iii Aio and full of Noctua fans.. (7800x3D RTX4080) Edit: Side mount sfx-l psu is much better for gpu room.
Nice! What other supporting hardware are you using and have you found the rear intake with an air cooler to be adequate? We plan to do something similar in the near future :)
Its a 7800x3d and a 4090 FE. Because the FE Blows hot air up i change the direction of cpu air flow backt to front. GPU only gets fresh air and cpu too. Hot air gets sucked out by 140s noctua. Also mouted the loki on the sideplate instead the Front (with the bulky cage)
this is a good looking compact matx case i've been eyeing for a while. it's only 20L. Matt, please check the jonsbo TK-0 (Itx). Would love to see it. As always content qualtiy are top notch.👏👏👏
Very nice, love a nice blackout build. I don't usually like mATX cases but I actually like this one. Not much bigger than a CHG160 but a lot better compatibility.

PC master race student. Salut
Same here...that's exactly what I'm doing...
This is best for people like me who moves gaming PC between living room and bedroom at least more than 10 times a year.
God I love how the rad slides into the top of the case. I wish more case manufacturers did that!
was wondering if it might rattle though?
@@jason2x1590nope, it was locked with screw
The ultimate Mini ATX! Need no more! Excellent Configuration! The best of the best!

Doing research on building my first PC and I absolutely love this
One of your very best build videos. Thank you for the care you take in filming and editing. Lovely
Wow, Iam seeing my previous comment mentioned in this jonsbo z20 build video . Glad for that.
Great video Matt.

That airflow segment was beautiful ❤❤❤ amazing build!! Now i need to find someone that can build one of these for me.. at my budget..
I love that you've shown and listed every pert!
The precision and professionalism are beyond Earth. I absolutely love the quality. You are inspiring me to make the most of my build/setup.

Hello from Canterbury - watching this from the UK this week :) I salute the skill involved in building an mATX rig in something so small. I just switched my gaming HTPC to a Lian Li Dan A3, and that is as small as I can go hehe.
Buddy asked for a compact PC and sent me this case as an idea, I just knew you would have a video on it.
I was hoping i'd see this case in a video someday. Next i would request a build in the COOJ Z18, that would be awesome! Keep up the good work!
Legitimately makes me want to build a new PC as soon as possible around this case. It is so damn good.
Thank you so much sir. You always care about your audience....❤❤❤❤❤
Ive watched this about a 1000 times no joke.
You need a life.
This pc building video is super chill
you catching the screwdriver was the smoothest thing I've ever seen. ❤😮

Full PC components one side and the looks of the case is on another side ❤
this form factor is just perfect. Easy to manage and not as expensive as the ITX one.
The paint finish on this case is really luxurious looking.
Please do a Lian Li A4-H20 build, I'm planning a new build in it and the last two builds of mine have been exact copies of yours
I’ll see what I can do! I really like that case too 😁

Matt, maybe you will consider assembling the set in the Jonsbo D300 case.
Would have been nice if this case offered an offset for itx motherboards. That way it might have been possible to mount a 280mm rad in the top.
Hi Matt, could you do an air cooled build for this case? I think it will look great
I was thinking of building with the black/orange version or the white version for a future build and that would certainly be air cooled :)
