Uni of York Campus tour

Today we are going to be taking a campus tour of the University of York. Looking at both east and west campuses and most of the colleges. I hope you enjoy it!

Who am I? 🤔
My name is Will Nyss and I’m a first-year student at the University of York studying Politics and International relations. In my spare time, I like to do mountaineering in Scotland and Wales. In addition to reading motivational books on self-improvement. While creating videos on stuff I’ve learned from my own failures, experiences and inspirations to share with you!!

Dear potential first years, we aim to have a historic campus which is why we’re building an upside down Tenochtitlan to sacrifice inadequate YUSU sabbs to the exam gods. This will help us add to our plethora of historic sites on campus, such as a glorious reminder of the Soviet Union with the entirety of derwent college.
Furthermore we like to expand as a university, hence why we have our various colonies across the city of york such as fairfax house on thief lane and king’s manor in the city centre. Just like a regular empire, we also have our regional territories such our Siberian gulag called halifax college and the science park near Alcuin.
Although we don’t encourage fellow students to gamble, we do encourage you to sign up for campus accommodation before you come here. Which, believe me, is like playing a game of Russian roulette. You either end up with a jackpot of catered accommodation in james college or a bullet of Eric Milner in Vanbrugh college or anything in St Lawrence court in Halifax college.
In fact we have a new edition to our accommodation gambling games called “home or hull” a bit like deal or no deal except because of the sheer amount of students getting into university, we run out of accommodation and have to send our students to live hull! So it really adds quite a new edge to the “excitement” of moving into university.
We hope you come here to stay at university of york whatever your course!
Just remember to enjoy the annual lecturers strike period in spring time, the 2-3 weeks off is glorious!
