I studied electronics there in 1986. Only 3000 students then! It was great, the college system lets you make friends with people from all other courses. The regular plays and films were great. Lake and ducks keep it real and tranquil. Saw boomtown rats, Lenny Henry etc at Central Hall. Nice to cycle into York city centre for shopping. Trips to Yorkshire coastline beautiful or Scarborough for fish and chips on beach. We all did well with our York degrees, surprising how many of us live abroad now. Highly recommended uni.
