It's not about the whiskey, it's the people you share it with!

Wish these were still $60
Yeah I wish Stagg was 60 as well Hahaha
I was cool with even $80-85, gotta figure the packaging adds a little to cost. But 100+ ehh
@@JazznRealHipHopYeah really. Get rid of the gimmick box and knock some $ off it. It’s more of an annoyance than anything to me.
Sometimes they get them at Costco. Got my last one for $72.
😮same.
Came across one of these for $81 and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Very nice batch. Hopefully Beam can keep it up!
Wish I could try before I buy more often. These limited bottles lucky to even see them sometimes. That’s why your reviews are so helpful because I don’t get those opportunities often. Thank you keep the reviews coming.
I'm a Beam fan and I've been a fan of Booker's, I enjoyed this one enough to back it up.
try the beam 7 yr black, i did a video on it
Your review is the best!!!!!!!! I just got 2024-01 to taste the difference actually.
I think Storyteller batch from last year is the best in a while but i’m happy with this one and glad the age statement is going up. Kind of a rarity these days
I really like this batch and agree the peanut isn't too crazy on it. I got to taste it at a Beam tasting before I bought it thankfully and liked it enough to grab a bottle
$80 in my area and it has been wonderful.
I’m going to miss this one when it’s gone.
Really enjoyed this batch of Bookers, I like a curveball thrown in every so often. Although, the Apprentice Batch from last year was my favorite.
I got a few weeks ago. I dig it
Nice review! I’m liking this batch! Last years Charlie’s was pretty good to me. Liquor store price is usually 110.00 to 130.00 gas station usually gets a couple of each batch for 85.00 store owner friend lets me buy them for his cost 72.00. Cheers!
I normally don't care for a number of beam products, Bookers being one of them. This was the first i tried in a while that i really liked.
Very good batch here. For me, Bookers has turned the corner and this one is a buy and back it up. Very tasty! Super citrus forward on the finish here. Reminds me of a good single barrel of Bakers which I really enjoy too!
It’s the first Booker’s I ever bought and I found them at Costco for $80. Needless to say, I hope it leaves me with a good first impression!
This is a delicious bottle - cmon man - and drinks way lower than it’s proof - it’s an instant buy at retail
I may try this if I find it close to MSRP. I haven't bought a Booker's in a few years and I miss the days when Costco always had it for $50.
Holy crap that was a long original grain add
Oddly enough I picked it up and it's incredible. To be honest probably my favorite thus far of the 6-7 I've had
Haven't had the 2024-1 yet. Looking forward to trying it out!
Bookers availability has gotten a lot better around here in the last year but while the price has come down it's still above MSRP. I've always been a Bookers fan, much more so than anything with the Jim Beam name on the front of the bottle.
Hope I can find this one, my home town is Springfield. Would be cool to have.
I think its pretty good, glad its a bit different than the usual. solid for the price.
Just picked one up after trying. I thought it may be better than the 2023’s entire line.
Last Great batch was 2019-03 Country Ham.
To the creator of the channel you did a great job with history and imformation thanks
He basically read off the press release lol, down to Booker's hometown and the Lincoln connection, lol
79 at Costco. Lots of them.
I've been eyeing this Batch for a while, but the $94.99 - $99.95 price tag (depending on which shop I go to out here) is holding me back.... plus I still have my Storyteller Batch to finish 😁. Thanks for the insights, as always.
Grabbed a bottle from an online seller.... I held out, and my patience "paid off" as they dropped their price to just below $100.00. Got free shipping, as well.... but the bill still came up a bit over that. I'm looking forward to it arriving.
It's always 110 here but I'll probably buy it cause I do like different profiles
That playoff beard is finally coming in.
It is?
Man I want this so bad. Can’t wait to come across it.
Good review, definitely will try before I buy this one
I don't know why but my palate wholeheartedly disagrees with your palate. I think it drinks super super hot. I have a 133.9 proof JDSBBP Rye and it drinks smoother than this for me. I'm wondering if I'm just not a Beam fan or if I need it to open up. I've went to it twice so far. Haven't touched it in a while.
Got it, but have not cracked it open yet. Nice review. 🥃
Another great video 👍
No peanut?!? What is Jim Beam without the signature nuttiness? We really loved the Kentucky Tea release awhile back. How would you rank this next to that one?
This one is similar I think. A sweeter release.
Jason I wanna see this vs the Bourbon Lore Ben Holladay
at $52 I'm buying 20.
Nice to be able to try it along with you. I agree with your analysis. No nuttiness at all. Very sweet. I like it!
It was on the shelf last weekend ($99) but after looking up some reviews on my phone, I left it alone. Not that the reviews were bad, they just mentioned "cinnamon" a lot, which doesn't appeal to me much in a bourbon. After this different-sounding review though, I'll probably give it a try next time I see it.
The major issue with Booker's is the lack of value. To me you are always better served to buy Larceny BP, ECBP, or KO Bare Knuckle High Rye cask strength.
Here in my market it went up too 99.99 in Utah 😒
I found online for $110.00. So Jason, that would be a no for you.? I did not order yet....
Unless your a bookers super fan I wouldn't buy it for that much
yes
Really like this pour my friend. Opened it the other day different Booker , but great hope you enjoy yours
Personally I have not been a big fan of Bookers. Here in my area of Georgia there are stores that have Bookers on the shelf from like 2020, 2021. They really dont move in my area. Most of the time they are always at 99.99. None of the ones that I have tried from friends or the 1 that I bought back in 2019 would lead me to ever buy another one. This one actually sounds good to me but still not worth that price tag compared to other 6+ year old Barrel Proof options like ECBP, JD SBBP. Hell even Knob Creek picks are usually better than any Bookers Ive had and those are higher age with a little less proof for around 60 bucks. Maybe ill find a friend that does have this batch and atleast try it.
Ok I'm all ears I pressed on this. I'll base getting 1 on your review
Just here to help again.
You're one of the only reviewers out there who doesn't start each Beam review with a comment like, "Now I'm not really a huge Beam fan" or "I'm not into nutty profiles." Seems automatic with many reviewers. So, thanks for that
It sounds a lot like your review of the new beam 7 year.
Yeah it's close with more proof. But I have to revisit it and put it up against some other bookers
I feel like the peanuts come out the longer I've had Booker's batches open lately. Lumberyard gave me some fruity vibes first few pours. Halfway through...
Bookers is always hit or miss. I usually get a pour and not buy the bottle. Appreciate the review
Of course. I've seen it twice but passed on it both times.
I'll actually double down and say this is one of the few batches that competes with a decent stagg batch and decent OF single barrel barrel strength bourbon. Likely better than ECa24
I definitely get peanut on mine. Wierd. Definitely vanilla peanut and sweeter and oakier. But love this batch might pursue backup bottle for probably first time on a bookers
@@Rocky-cx6qz I'll definitely try it again and see how it opens up. Thanks for the feedback
I agree off profile- I like all of my 2023 batches more than this one
Better than anything last year like Apprentice batch?
I think it's better than apprentice. But not Kentucky tea or storyteller
@@TheMashandDrum Fair Assessment.
$130 here in SC these days. Ugh
I got salted peanut/creamy peanut butter almost immediately, I loved it
Really. Wow. Did t get much in mine. Gonna have to go back to it.
For us that like Bookers it’s a buy. Even the so called misses. Just me.
Next Livestream I do im putting this one up against some other favorites to see how it does.
Other than Costco where is it $90. 😂😂
The next Booker's I have just heard from the source is 100% ALL PEANUT, totally PEANUT in the best of ways in every way possible.
Bro I'm fine with you getting money for promoting products but that watch ad was excessive.
@@chrisvittorio695 yeah I get ya. I need to make them shorter
The video starts at 3 minutes. Before that, it's a dumb watch add.
I impulse bought at $85. It's nowhere near as good as batches 3 and 4 from last year.
Bakers 7 is better n cheaper
I thought it fell short of any that I have open. Uneventful.
This isn't near as good as Storyteller, for ref. If you've had it, hope it helps to decide. I'd pass if I had to do over. Cheers
Yeah I have to compare. Maybe a LIVE bookers night.
I did not care for it
