- Hi there. In today's tutorial we will learn how to create a 3D Map with the DJI Mini 2 and the software Agisoft Metashape Professional. It's the updated and upgraded version. Hope you guys will enjoy it. Cheers!
The music I use : www.epidemicso... - Really good for RUclipsrs.
Dude, this is awesome! Perfect for what i do with my mini 2.
Thank you, I also suggest you taking a look to my other videos as they are also about photogrammetry with both drones and phones.
Interesting video, Im going to have to give this a try with my Mini2
Thanks, you should definitely try!
Very useful, liked and subscribed!
Thank you!
What is the name of the app used?
Agisoft Metashape Professional is the app called.
Nice work buddy 👍👍👍
Cheers!
nice video 😀 liked & subscribed, thanks for sharing 😀
Thank you but you can only subscribe once :)
Hello man why you didn't show all editing? your final version looks awesome but you didn't show it how to make it, i think whole process
Hello. As I said at the end of the video you can export the model as .las file and use it in any CAD softwares. The one you see at the end is called Recap. But that's a different story.
Really interesting, thanks!
Thank you!
Why do you look so much like messi lol
Have you ever used a product like drone deploy? I just don’t think I would have the patience to manually take that many photos, but it is good to know software that lets you do this. Drives me crazy that DJI drags their feet in releasing the SDK so these drones can work with more software.
I never used drone deploy as Mini 2 it’s my first drone. But maybe in the future I’ll get the chance to use it.
@@iulianpraz it’s one of those programs that once you do a project with it, you will never want to do it any other way. Just drives me crazy when they won’t release the SDK so the drones will work with these very useful apps.
@@droneranger2041 you’re right.
Hi thanks for the video. Keep going. I have a question. Did you take the picture manual or with flightplan?
My regards
George
Hi George and thanks for the appreciation. In the beggining of the video I show that the pictures are being taken setting the drone to take pictures every 5 seconds. But now there are a few apps that take automatic photographs for you in order to create better quality maps or 3D Models. Hope it helps.
hope you get many more subscribers after this update
I hope so too!
Very interesting! I want to give it a try. If I am looking to make a 3D map of the roof of a house and I also want to measure the distances and area of the roof, will this method help?
Go for it! Check my other videos but I'm pretty sure you'll figure out how to deal with it.
amazing! thanks for this video I will try to do it
Have fun!
Do you have tips to do cartography with dji mini 3 pro ? Because i didnt found anything. Thank you
I only have the Dji Mini 2 drone for the moment so I have no clue. But should be the same procedures for any drone you use.
Love to play around with this but that software is $3200 US. Great job on what you are doing though.
Thank you!
standard edition is 180$, which be probably more than enough for some smaller projects or hobby use etc. if you're doing this fro serious business, then cost is nothing out of ordinary for this kind of use.
@@izoyt $59 if you pretend to be a Student.
@@KrustyKlown Arent we all students? ;)
How will I sent it to a client
Thanks for the tutorial but there is a bit of deception going on here or perhaps you forgot to post what the 3d model is exactly. The beginning video and anything after @6:10 is actual video, you can see the wind blowing the laundry. I would suggest more accurately posting what is what, the way this is displayed is like the beginning and end are the actual models when they are actual video of the drone spinning around the area.
You’re right. I should’ve said in the beggining of the video that the first part is the actual footage and also the end part. Thanks for the comment.
exactly. this has been confusing for me as well. the 3d map looks not that good compared
Which app is required for the editing
Watch the video as you've got it there.
Very good tips!!! Thanks a lot 👋
Thank you Juan! I appreciate!
is not scalable or scalable?
I'm not sure what you mean.
@@iulianpraz when u take the 3D map photo is it scalable? i mean real dimension
It is scalable if you have the dimensions of the objects or building you take the photos for or you can use a GPS to survey several points near your objects and then use the coodinates for georeferencing.
Hello!! Can you create an STL file from this programm to use it on a 3d printer?
I don’t know.
Bruh are you brother of Messi ?
Messi is my twin brother :)
What the heck is that Messi???
Muahaha!
Exactly lol
Very nice, but I don't think its worth to spend 3499$ to buy that software as a private user..
Thank you, and yes you’re right.
@@iulianpraz What can you do with the standard version?
@@luftbild Honestly I haven’t used it before. So I don’t know.
She is Leonel Messi
Haha, if you knew how many persons told me this thing?
Messi @@ what are you doing here ?
Haha, trying my luck on RUclips!
Skyebrowse achieves similar quality for free though, give it a go
Thank you, I'll give it a try. Have a look on my other videos as I create a 3D model with freesource softwares.
wow...thanks sir! Lionel Messi?
The one from Wish, haha!
😂😂😂😂
Hi , I take a one error."Oh snap! There was an error accessing the image tags. " How solve?
When does this error occur?
Lol that boy did a statistical study on our a$$. That man said 98.7% of us ain’t shyt for not subbing.😂. I got you bro. I’m subscribing. 😂😂
Haha :)
Thanks ❤❤❤
Glad it helped!
3d Software name bro and which software used for mini 2?
The software is called Agisoft Metashape Professional.
Can you share the 3D model? I’d like to see how good the quality is .. . I just picked up a dji mini and I been doing LiDAR scanning .. but I wanted to do so
Something like this for a film project.. and this is perfect. Thanks for the tutorial. I would be very interested to see how good the model and textures are when converted to fbx or obj etc. I’d like to use it as a scene in my film project .. but I don’t know how good the quality is. I have been doing it the hard way. I imported an area from google maps as a 3D environment.. you can rip the models using tools .. however the problem is .. if you need to get close to let’s say normal height .. the textures and models look really bad .. because they are really low quality. For an arial shot .. way up and above .. it works fine. So you can import google maps into blender etc. I’m hoping the quality comes out useable.
Hi, give me your email address and I'll send you the 3D Model.
How do you deliver or display the final product to the client?
It’s up to you. You can export the point cloud or you can create an animation out of it?
When you get this point cloud/ 3d photo can you put it in revit to replicate topography?
I think you can.
nice 3D editing video bro😀
Thank you!
Hello!!! Good video, congratulations I have a question, can Agisoft export to Sketchup or 3DS Max? Thank you
I have no clue. I only use Reality capture now which is my favourite.
@@iulianpraz Could you tell why? Is there a better quality of mesh or pointcloud? Thx for this vid :)
@@michaldabrowski9240 First of all is faster and yes from my point of view the point cloud quality is better than the one obtained with Agisoft.
Is this possible with Mavic Mini 1 as well?
Of course, as long as you take enough photographs.
Nice 🙂👍
Thank you!
Great !
Thanks Paweł!
Great video!
Thank you!
